You read it here first!. Nothing against the guys trying but this is one damn hard challenge. A shorter race to start out would have been a better test. You got to walk before you run.
"I have wasted an afternoon digging though this website.
Well, guess what? You posted the damn address on Slashdot now I can't waste an afternoon digging through that website. Now I have to do my job and update a bunch of Windows 2003 servers because M$ can't get its patches right.
Next time you feel the need to not waste my afternoon, DON'T!
The hatred directec at Bush is nothing compared to the hatred directed at Clinton.
Oh please. Clinton never had the daily onslaught that Bush receives from his public enemies. No even close. Bush has to contend with every liberal organization in America gunning after him with lies and deceit. Clinton actually had Republican support for most of his major legislation like NAFTA and welfare reform. Most of Clinton agenda (outside of Universal Health Care) were passed not because of Democrats but because of Republicans.
I don't see any Democrat billionaires sponsoring personal lawsuits against Bush. I don't see them conducting extensive investigations that yield evidence of not one single crime.
Then what the hell is George Soros doing? Hmmm? He is pledging millions and millions of dollars to investigate and defeat Bush. And yes Clinton was found guilty. He was impeached. He escaped other prosecutions because witnesses fled the country or rolled over like Webster Hubble famously said on tape.
How do you know the MP3.com employees weren't being productive?
They do but when they arrive, we stamp it "Return to Sender".
What did the parent post say that had anything to do with socialism? Everyone who dislikes Bush and his policies is a socialist?
Majority of the nations "pissed" at Bush are socialist. And yes most of the people that "hate" Bush are socialists not because they oppose Bush but they are truly Socialists. Sweden, Germany, Norway, France, etc. are socialist nations.
You seem to have difficulty grasping subtle distinctions. This makes me sad.
Cheer up. Until the rest of the world steps up to the plate and deals with international security, you will have the United States doing it for you. Step up to the plate or be stepped over.
Having exercise equiptment on site is a good thing so that it is easier to stay healthy and another way to take a break
I think the craptacular performance of MP3.com has shot this theory down. It might make employees happy but it doesn't make them productive. Abuse and threats along praise and raises are the keys to employee productivity and business success, the rest is eye candy.
No wonder this company couldn't make a profit. They have more freaking workout equipment than the Crush fitness center in lower Manhattan. What the hell does an "Internet Company" need with a washer/dryer, fooseball tables, pool tables, electronic dart boards, more workout equipment than a Manhattan gym, stand up arcade games, massage tables, autographed size 20 sneakers and other non-business related crap? If I were an investor in MP3.com, I would have shoved that autographed size 20 sneaker up some CEO's butt. Outrageous!
These guys appear to be so wasteful, I bet they used sharpies on whiteboards and just threw them away after each meeting. And we wonder why there was such an Internet bubble and a recession.
From 1992 through 2000 (and actually, beyond), the GOP has been the "Hate Clinton" party.
Hate Clinton? Clinton was the best thing that ever happened to the GOP. Because of Clinton, the Republicans now control the US House, the US Sentate, the Executive Branch, a majority of all governorships and the majority of state legislatures. Without Clinton, none of this would have happened. At the start of Clinton's term, Republicans were the minority.
You think most Americans are pleased by the fact that every single nation on earth hates us now?
Then why the hell are all their citizens trying to sneak into our country illegally? Think about it. Your vacuous parroting of socialist mantras will get you nothing more than scorn from me.
I always find it odd that people tend to bash Ashcroft when he is doing the right thing. Unless you support the pollution of Internet with DDoS attacks and SPAM relays, this was a good move by the FBI. I hope more of these basement "L337" hosting companies bit the dust.
Grow up and join the rest of the adults. Catching flippant phrases are vacuous.
Even though Infinium Labs hasn't released one product for the consumer gaming market, I would like to be on the record saying that Infinium Labs is the best damn gaming company on planet earth and the COO has a nice house.
Someone needs to tell that to my Apple PowerBook G4, Sony T68i, Axim X3 and Jabra BT200 headset. I really don't have the time, I am too busy using Bluetooth keeping them synced. iSync owns.
The 90s huh? During the early 90s the country was in recession, factor that it. The "boom" you speak of really took off in 2000, so don't factor that in.
If the boom occurred in 2000, why did the NASDAQ lose nearly half its value in 2000 and economists are now saying the recession started in late 2000 instead of March 2001? 2000 was the beginning of the tech bubble bust.
And PS, since Bush has taken office, we're at net of about -500,000 jobs.
That's it? Less than 1/2 of 1% of the US population (~280 million) lost their jobs? Not to bad during a period of time that started with a recession followed up by the worst terrorist attack in US History. The fact that the country didn't sink into a severe economic depression after 9/11 is amazing considering the wide spread economic cost of that tragic, evil event is unbelievable. Also that number does not count in the new businesses that were created by people stopping "working for man" and doing their own thing -- like a lot of people I know these days.
Just because unenployment is skyrocketing, our country is going into great debt, and the US prison industry is the fastest growing of them all is no reason to fear this one.
You obviously don't understand the term "skyrocketing". Skyrocketing unemployment would be that of a country like Germany which is around 10%. Ours is going down -- the opposite of skyrocketing. The current unemployment rate is lower than the average unemployment rate of the "booming" 90s. Much lower than the highly enlightened European Union. Much of our country's history has been spent in debt, the key is the percentage of the debt versus the GDP of the nation. Debt is not the problem, its the ability of the nation to manage that debt and make the payments in relation to the country's ability to produce goods and services that people want to obtain. And there is a good reason that the prison population is rising, there are bunch of jerks in this country that need to be locked up that we haven't been locking up in the past. That is why we are seeing a declining crime rate for the last several years. It is very hard for criminals to prey on society when they are locked up behind bars.
Also, the best thing this Government could do is take food out of kids' mouths. Have you seen how freaking fat kids are today? My God, its like we have an army of Fat Alberts running (er, walking) around these days. In fact, the biggest health risk for "impoverished" American children is obesity. If you want to see real poverty it's not in this country. Our poor get cable TV.
I wonder if Steve Jobs took his little computer animated characters and left Disney because they went with M$ DRM. Deals like this don't happen over night. Just a thought...
I thought this was about "Propane Speech" and there was some bizarre Hank Hill linkage. Aw, well, too much toons in my life.
Does it support Ogg Vorbis?

I wonder if I can bet on the race. However, I have my doubts that any of them will cross the finish line.

The French are nailing themselves into boxes and mailing themselves to Akron, Ohio?
They do but when they arrive, we stamp it "Return to Sender".
That should make more sense than something about MP3.com employees.

The auctioning of all the MP3 assets so of gave it away...

God Bless Bill Clinton!
So Republicans have been winning elections because they are trying to make people hate them? I am lost on your logic here.
Then why the hell are all their citizens trying to sneak into our country illegally? Think about it. Your vacuous parroting of socialist mantras will get you nothing more than scorn from me.
Frankly, this appears to be the entire Democratic Platform for 2004. I have heard nothing but "Hate Bush" from Democratic Party since 2000.

If you don't know what a command does, type "man [command]" (without the quotes, of course).
Too late.

Just covering my bases...I hate lawyer letters...

Who is that looking over your shoulder?
