I think this is particularly cool considering FM almost didn't make it out of infancy. Armstrong worked for RCA and they had so much invested in it that they tried to kill it. He had to pay to put up his own transmitter. RCA even tried running an FM smear and fear campaign. HAHA
Is anyone seriously surpised about this? I mean this department was cobbled together soooooo quickly its a wonder they can even function. I mean look at all the other departments of gov out their that have a barely functioning website. I don't know about you, but I have always found the most annoying websites to be government sites.
Laptop harddrives are still insanely expensive as far as I am concerned. They are more in the $2.50 - $3 a gig range instead of the $.25-$.33 price range for a desktop hdd.
Maybe this can help change this. Eventually. Maybe.

I totally agree with you. I know plenty of people who have not recycled their monitors because of the $10 fee. If you build taht fee in upfront no-one will care.
Now, that being said, don't make it a tax. Have the manufacturer charge it but know that it is a liability they will have to refund to a recycling firm 5 to 10 years down the road. The company would still make out really well in that situation, because they would get to use the money for several years and then pay out and alot of people wont recylce anyway so they win there too.
You mean they are tracking my buying history!!! They are giving me a different price than someone else!!! Why that is shocking and outrageous!!! How dare they use age old methods of prefered customer discounts and high-tech haggling. I thought the web was supposed to be the final frontier where all were equal and eveyone got the best price!!!

The FCC is going to love this. Broadcast within a 30 mile radius? Could you imagine a city like New York where you could have 1000 people all broadcasting? This could be an airwave nightmare

I totally agree with you. Yahoo didn't have to take down the profile. A better method was for he to become creative and strike back in her own way. That is the risk you run when you get into a relationship like that. I guess the best advice you could give her (and all ladies since many guys out there are essentially scum) is hold onto the pictures.
Besides what is next. I post a some cool Yankees stuff and some Dodgers Fan makes me take it down.:-P

This is nothing more than the all too familiar battle of marketing vs. reality. I am sure that there are alot of engineers and coders at both Sony and Microsoft that are jsut shaking thier heads at what they saw at E3, but it is so typical.
When a coder makes a promise the maxium is "always under promise and over deliver", for marketers I think an appropriate one is "Over promise get a lot of people to buy it, thne blame the Nerds when it doesn't meet our promos."
Sorry I phrased that wrong. I mean to say that it is all a matter of proportions. There is less mac software so it makes sense that there is less bad software (keeping proportions constant).
I unfortunately have to disagree with you. What you say has been true in the past, but on the recent ruling about under 18 death penaltys Jusitice Anthony Kennedy cited international law as precedent for his no vote.
So now that Jusitces Kennedy and Stevens are advocating the use of international law and foreign judges opinons in Supreme Court descisions do you think they are going to take these rulings into consideration? It shall be interesting to see.
