    North Korea also has the heaviest fortified place in the world, not the smartest place to invade. Atleast with Iraq we were able to mop the battlefield in the first part of the war.

    you must have not met too many of us. Yes we don't want it to be our fault, do you want things that go wrong at ur work to be blamed on you? That is a silly statement. I haven't heard too much bragging with the agencies I deal with, but maybe i just need to go to another state.

    It is not that we are lazy, it is just that there is so much bureaucratic red tape to cut through just to get something done. When you have to get something that has to have paperwork pass through 5 peoples desk before it is approved. Also to compound the problem, Sue from accounting has no idea what a SCSI controller or a UPS are, so it doesn't seem that important to her. Sure YOU know what it is but they wont. And as far as cost goes, that blame lies solely with the contractors. They jack up the price because they know they can because of ridiculous State and Federal contracts that have to be used to purchase these items, which not just anyone can get. Those are just a few problems, but don't blame it on incompetent workers. They are just like any other private business, you can find the same thing happen in any organization whether it is government or private.

    This is a user problem. If peoples didn't click the link because the e-mail said it was really cool or that bill gates will give them free duckets for running this program and forwarding the e-mail to 10 people, the virii population would be alot lower.

    Aren't all the games going to be new to the revolution? Sorry, I had to be a smart ass. Nintendo will put the smack down on Sony and MS because they get the bigger picture of gaming. There is more to gaming than pretty graphics.

    I don't think many companies will want their employees following the ads that would appear in the emails. It is bad enough that most management doesn't even want their employees to have internet access as it is, this would only worsen their views.

    That really isn't the question at hand though. They released it to the public, it should have been patched up prior to release. That is what most complaints about Microsoft are about on here. If a Linux distro is released with the same amount of holes and they just patch them faster, they are still releasing unfinished software. that is just my 2 cents, wasn't attempting to troll

    To take part in the initiative, governments have to commit to buying a million machines for around $100 each
    I am sure he has great intentions, but making a gov commit to 100 million units sounds like he is in this to make more money.

    HD tv sales are at 25% because of the good old FEMA checks. When I would go to the store after Hurricane Rita, all you saw were people snatching up the tv's, and all of them were HD. Good old FEMA.

    This would be really useful if colonizing, or wanting to deposit things on a planets/objects. think of it kind of like a wench and cable on a helicopter. It would be much easier to deposit building materials and other things without having to "dump" them out of the ship and hope they land intact. but that is just my 2 pennies.

    I think i would rather spend the extra $$ and get something like a treo that has a phone feature, and if i am not mistaken the os on them is linux based. Also there is a wi-fi card for a tungsten palm that can be hacked to work on the Treo 650. But this is pretty cool for people on a budget.

    this probably is not the only guy doing this. It is just like celebrities that tell you to not do drugs, right after they finish clearing the bong. I really wouldn't be surprised if Bionic Bill himself has violated DRM at some point in time.

    You do realize that cyber security is not just about your OS there chief. You also have to deal with routers and other things that have vulnerabilities. Microsoft isn't the only company to have security problems.
