It's not the pictures alone being online... it's that they're being linked to you.
If you're just some guy in the photo like your bank and store example, you really have nothing to worry about. It's when you get your picture taken at the bank and it brings up your name, date of birth, blood type, sperm count, girls you dated in high school, etc. that it begins to be an issue.
Apart from retaining the bottlenecks present at the sites people visit (what point is 1GB to the home, when the site you're downloading from is limited to 300KBit/S) isn't this simply the last throes of "old" technology?
You can visit sites simultaneously, or download stuff in the background, have the entire family accessing the Internet, etc.
What I don't get is why they cool the entire room. Why not have duct work leading from the AC to the bottom of a server shelving unit, with duct work on the top leading outside, and sucking the hot air out, then pulling cool air in.
I'd pay if they removed CD-in-the-drive protection. Hell, I can tolerate CD-in-the-drive protection if they remove it after the first patch (Epic did this with UT).
Key based protection is hardly a nuisance, and you can easily store it in a text file.
Whoops, didn't take your perspective into account.
Why wouldn't research projects (finished or in progress) qualify as results? Just because they aren't marketable products doesn't mean they aren't results.
Prolly some damn intern!
Hung Way Low..?
What if you can't prove a negative by contradiction?
I was in my small bed in my small dorm room. Nothing but joy.
Because Windows 6.55 doesn't have any special meaning.

Yeah, can't wait to pay for my Advance games again!
Who says they haven't tried or aren't trying? Maybe Palin was just the first to be hacked because it was easier.
But what would happen if you did the same thing with four people, two of them black, two white?

Except now I have to set aside my time to do such a project.
Does Cable TV use a fixed amount of bandwidth? Aren't all the channels broadcasted to everyone, so there is no unique traffic?

You could always store the raw audio in FLAC, and then use digital filtering when you convert to MP3.
I didn't know the binary distribution did support USB. Jumping ship now. Thanks for the info!
I run a Windows VM with VMWare Player so I can use my Zune. As soon as VirtualBox supports USB I'll jump ship.
Those next few people are always followed by some karma whore looking for that Insightful mod for pointing out those next few people.
Trauma to the skull can negate any benefit exercising has.
Well, when you have five times as many employees you can focus on more things.
Besides, why do they have to be turned into products to be considered results?

I wasn't replying to GP, was I?
If they're spending so much on R&D, where are the fucking results?
