I live in Nebraska and we're "beta testing" the new software.. Alpha is more like it. It sucks in so many ways. Google "time warner DVR software sucks" for a list of the bugs. It's just amazing that they would ask us to give up something that worked very well for this absolute crap.
I dumped them 2 days ago and got Dish Network installed.. and I've never been happier.
Call me a jerk, but I thanked them when I turned my box in: "without your 'wonderful' software upgrade, I would have never discovered just how wonderful Dish Network is.."

Take a 650, d/l the 4gb hack and make a new ROM for the unit. Flash it. Peachy, now your 80.00 4gb SD card works like a champ.
Add FairUse Wizard and a dvd, and 1.5 hours later you're watching whatever using TCMP on your treo in 320x320 with 128kb stereo, all at about 200mb.

Uh.. you need to check your facts on this. The mag that misquoted Joss on this was soon corrected. He replied on wedonesque.com to the effect of "although this magazine is generally factual, this missed this be a mile. I said no such thing."
Great RTS that gives the added bonus of "taking over" any of the units and playing as a FPS.
I've never spent more time on a game (in a more enjoyable way).
Grab it if you can, I found it in a bargin bin at Menards for 3 bux.:)

I can't take it. I couldn't read the article, though I did try. My brain wants to skip ahead and my eyes won't let it and.. I just get one heck of a headache. Am I alone here? eesh..
Yahoo has an EXCELLENT calendar, w/ to do list and notes. It synchs to your PDA using free software from yahoo (and the default datebook on a palm pda). I never actually look at the thing online, but if my pda ever dies, it will re-synch to the net and I'm good to go.

I've been a huge nintendo fan boy for years, but I'll be buying an Xbox 360; thank-you-very-much.
The original Xbox could quite obviously push MANY more poly's than the gamecube. The new 360 is reported to be 15 to 20 times more powerful than the original.
The revolution is suppose to be "2 or 3 times" more powerful (nintendo quote) than the original crap-tastic 'cube. Oh, as a bonus, it'll be coming out a year + (at least, probably 2.. look at their track record) LATER than the 360.
The king is dead, long live MS. (eesh)

There is no "extremely critical" Something is either critical, or it's not.
