There already is a gender neutral pronoun.
It's called "they".
That is only appropriate in the plural though. When you are talking about an unspecified individual, they is incorrect.
And it is impersonal, implying the man or woman is an inanimate object unworthy of a gender.
But I think it's becoming (or coming back into) regular practice:
You can use the plural pronouns ‘they’, ‘them’, ‘their’ etc., despite the fact that, technically, they are referring back to a singular noun:
If your child is thinking about a gap year, they can get good advice from this website.
A researcher has to be completely objective in their findings.
Some people object to the use of plural pronouns in this type of situation on the grounds that it’s ungrammatical. In fact, the use of plural pronouns to refer back to a singular subject isn’t new: it represents a revival of a practice dating from the 16th century. It’s increasingly common in current English and is now widely accepted both in speech and in writing.
My first professional programming stint was working for my uncle's small business software development outfit. (And this was so small, I was the senior developer, next to him.:) )
One of my first questions was, "Shouldn't we fix mistakes we make free of charge?" He looked at me with surprise. "No, not at all!"
We were working on accounting software for doctors' offices at the time. He said, "Look, say you go to the doctor for a nasty cough. He gives you some medicine, charges you, and you go home. But next week, the cough hasn't gone away, so you come back to the doctor. Does he charge you for the 2nd visit, or is it free?"
Not a perfect analogy either, but if you prefer a car analogy, in most cases a mechanic will charge you for a 2nd visit, too.
The people behind the Ouya said they thought there was a market for people that wanted to play casual games, but on their TV, so they would have that group or family experience. But I think they're wrong. Casual gamers seem more than happy with their phones and tablets. Not too long ago, casual gamers didn't have a choice, really - they either played on their computer or in front of their TV.
Come on, there is no way the Japanese could have developed video games without leaching from the great Americans who invented everything from the world wide web to the wheel.
I'm only half-joking when I say - let's use the guillotine.
You probably won't find anything quicker. I'll bet it's as painless as you can get, since shock would probably keep the brain from sensing pain in the last few seconds (but who can say, really).
It probably wouldn't pass the "unusual" test, but only by dint of being abandoned for so long!
Meanwhile, the Watergate Hotel wants you to know that their staff would never rifle through your papers and other belongings while you are away from the room.
That's funny, I've noticed the same except with my left-leaning friends (and extreme left-wing politics of course). I'm not trying to be facetious, it does seem that way to me. Perhaps it says more about us than them?
Ouch! That was my mistake. What surprises me is that it took this long for someone to spot it.

Are you talking about Obama lying, or Slashdot lying, or the AC lying?
Wow, there was a security audit?!
"Xenophobic fear mongering" just seems too strong a term. Maybe a little mocking.
I scanned through both FAs, but I fail to see "xenophobic fear" or mocking regarding the DPRK's year 103. What are you guys talking about?
Juche,
We made one, but the data being returned kept dropping out for some reason.
I've got no "Insightful" points to give, but you got it.
But what kind of fun commentary can we get out of that?
Sadly, most North Koreans could never claim that at least they had chicken.

And queue the Al Gore jokes in 3,2,1...
Al Gore's taking credit for the wheel now?!
And appeared in the motion picture, "Close Encounters of the Perv Kind".
...not warcraft!
Make Lovecraft, not Warcraft?

It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times.
Sorry, got GIFs blocked too. Gimme animated ASCII, or not at all.
If you have a range or spectrum, you have extremes. Sounds like you're rubbing elbows with too many right-wingers. :)

The important part will be when the AI decides to make a game.
