    No, this is biodiversity happening before our eyes. It's natural selection, survival of the fittest. The fittest bears can swim the distance.

    That may or may not happen. A group of parents got together and got an injunction. Aparrently, Cobb County residents voted for a tax increase thinking the money would go towards helping their kids' education, i.e. for hiring more teachers. The court order is currently in limbo.

    Kids these days aren't crashing the family car. They're crashing their own car. This isn't 1965, and kids in high school are given more freedom and responsibility than ever before. If your kid needs his own computer for studying, then a laptop is a good idea, and he can take it to college later. How would you know how to synchronize your machines to a remote server without a computer at home?

    How about a wallpaper that doesn't have me itching to change it all the time? I'm tired of this endless searching through sites like deviantart and pixelgirlpresents. I want one wallpaper,forever. Or at least one that keeps me happy 6 months out of the year.

    Speaking of innovations, why do we even have power interruptions anymore? The electricity that runs through our neighborhoods should run on a better system than a series circuit.

    Use enlightenment. No bloat (fast) and you don't need all those slow extensions for dropshadows and (fake) transparency. And it's beautiful.

    I'll be applying to colleges next year. Is Madison a well-known school in the Midwest/Northeast? I hadn't heard of it until I started my college search. Are Madison grads typically presented with good jobs/career paths? If anyone knows anything about this school, I'd love to hear it.

    Both sides are notorious for cheating, but 3DMark05 benchmark is generally a good indicator of gaming performance.

    All the jingles you hear in ads today are the result of the effectiveness of the Burma Shave ads. Bill Bryson's "Made in America" has a whole chapter on it. It's really the most interesting and funny history of America I've ever read. Everyone should check it out.

    You're saying RTS, MMORPG, and other RPG's "don't really need that kind of processing power", but console-specific games like platformers, adventure/action games, etc. do? If people "don't really need" prettier graphics then why do we even have new consoles? I don't really see what you're trying to say. The PC has some highly entertaining games on it and so do consoles, and if it costs money to make them prettier on either platform, so be it.
