Heh, make sure you don't actually say what bank this is. That way somebody who is interested in a little more security will have to hunt around to all the banks and find out which one. Thanks heaps...
OK, does the ABC affiliate charge for downloads of the news. On another point, this is their own produced content, which is all that ABC is selling, their own produced shows. What is the alternative to ABC selling them, every individual affiliate selling the shows for their own particular area? This sounds a lot harder.
You make a good point about the biting the hand that feeds you. But surely the same could be said for DVD releases? And since they sell the episodes after they have been aired, the affiliates still have an advantage (plus it is free).
Isn't 1.6 m a show quite an expensive show?
as a bit of a traveller I have had a lot of fun sampling the local McD
Does this not seem a little strange to everyone - you are a bit of a traveller, but enjoy visiting different McDs??
Hey, definately don't try any different cuisine, it might kill you.
ha ha, im just kidding, you are alright... really.
Why haven't they tried to do something like this then - and it seems that ABC have licensed their content for sale only over restricted avenues - free to air or cable. Do you also think that the affiliates should be in charge of selling DVDs??
Affiliates are upset, since they might lose out on income, but i don't see why they have a guaranteed income stream from ABC.
Ok, but is sitting in front of your TV really living your life? I used to get worried that I would miss a particular show, and maybe setup the video recorder... but one day I stopped. I thought, so what happens if i miss this show, and what happened was nothing.
It is far to easy to just come home from work, and sit in front of the TV and veg out, but this is not living your life, and should be discouraged as much as possible. There is nothing on TV beyond entertainment value, and it is the lowest form of Entertainment. (Sure you can harp on about documentaries, but that is of questionable value - have you ever tested how much you retain after these documentaries, and there are plenty of other ways of finding about interesting subjects)
Well, it seems to me that he is right. You simply explained why you were that way. You can run around and say the he is associating people into a group with no basis in reality, but you just proved him correct, by justifying yourself.
I suggest that you are creating in your own mind, rather ridiculous and unlikely circumstances where this form of gun control would prove to be a problem.
As an aside, I agree with your original point, ("we should not be managed, watch-dogged or even monitored by our property") in reference to DVD players, and you do make some great points in your response. You also make some sweeping claims that suggest that Smart Gun Technology will not save any lives, and this is clearly incorrect. If you can endless circumstances where an uninhibited gun is necessary, I am also sure that you can think of several situations where a Smart gun could save somebodies life.
This is an interesting point... Maybe we will see the end of Albums, and just have groups release tracks, that must be good to be enjoyed. A whole paradigm shift (sorry for the marketing speak) away from the way we do things at the moment.
This really gets to me, and as far as I am confirmed is cheap. It doesn't get me excited, it is easy to do, annoying, and often used to make it harder to see what is actually going on(to cover up mistakes in fighting choreography). It is supposed to make the heart beat faster.... bleh, it is a cheap trick, and should be gotten rid of.
Does anybody really believe this stuff. I know we want to believe it, and would all love microsoft to fail, but lets not let this convince us of any old doomsday story.
The problem is, if you start seeing Microsoft falling everywhere, you miss where they really can lose...
OK, You assumption is based on the fact that nobody can do a job like your parents. Well, maybe we are discussing a special case here, and maybe what you are saying is true. But please don't lose sight of my point. A caregiver earning a good wage, is not comparable to an ordinary office worker who just won the lottery. So once again, it is important to distinguish someone like your parents, and someone who say, works in a supermarket, earns a tiny wage, and then wins a huge pile of money, more than they would ever learn. If you put my meaning into this context, i am sure you will agree.
I really do have nothing against your parents, and I am not suggesting that they stop work.
PS. I am from Australia, not the US.
Yes, but surely you can see in my example, that someone winning the lottery would do a greater service to the community by giving up their job to someone needy?
It is important to note, that I am not simply suggesting people who are well of need leave their jobs, but if you win the lottery and keep their job, that i going a bit far.
If your parents have as much money as Steve, then they should stop earning a wage. Continuing something just because you enjoy it, when unemployment is so high, sounds a little selfish...
How many times do we have to hear this crap. Beta wasn't supperior, you needed to tapes for one movie- each tape held about an hour. How is this technically superior. It stored a few extra scan lines, for very little discernible different from VHS.
So he is undeniably wealthy, but still continues to be a drain on the public system by sending his kids to a public school? You don't see that as weird.
It is similar to the situation were people win the lottery, and continue to work in their old job. Yeah, you don't have to work now, but don't give up that valuable job to someone who might actually need it. Sheesh.
I would kill someone if they came back to work after winning the lottery, who wants to hear all their great stories about the holidays they go to on the weekend.
How about the fact that it doesn't slow down until completely useless while downloading a file. For what it is worth, I use firefox all the time, but will switch back to opera now. There are just a few things that annoy me enough, for me to take up the alternative.
At least they have developed an easier way to recognise the next generation.
I say, burn all the fine redheaded children, before they take over. I don't want the world to get any weirder than it is!
Wow, perhaps the market is big enough to support more than one device?
Perhaps this particular product is not aimed at you and your ilk?
It seems to me, that if want a phone and a seperate MP3 player, you can already go ahead and buy one, so maybe, just maybe, your paranoia is unfounded.
Of course, I maybe wrond, and every mp3 manufacturer will stop producing their products tomrorow, and all mobile phones will come with a built in MP3 player.
How the f*ck does this get marked up.
It is not huge, it is a re-branded e398, with an extra button. It does support memory cards (Transflash cards), that fit behind the battery, so you can change it if you want.
I personally think it is smaller than the RAZR, but that is becase the RAZR is a big phone - even tho it is a skinny clam shell.
Does this worry you at all, that so much of your families time is taken up gaming? It seems like quite a lot, if you son and wife are playing for 3-5 hours a night.
Heh, make sure you don't actually say what bank this is. That way somebody who is interested in a little more security will have to hunt around to all the banks and find out which one. Thanks heaps...

An ID of 7191 and that is the best you can say?
I expect more, damn you... a lot more!

Symbian does offer a lot more control than using J2ME tho... so i like it better.

You sound like one of those right-wing gun nuts, opposed to the smart-gun technology which can save lives.
Your comment
So.... he was right, then.

Really, oh I am sorry.

ITunes doesn't run on java on the ROKR. j2me can't access external files, and I doubt it would be fast enough to decode aac files.

>1 in 5 shorts came Shots rather...
Thanks for pointing that out. Somebody may have thought that you had a camera that printed out pictures directly onto shorts. Cheers

The ROKR is just a e398, with an extra button, and different software!
