As Google is already under some anti-trust scrutiny, selectively blocking results for specific companies for any reason would not be the smartest move for them.
Don't worry, you can sue them for unlimited amounts for IP, piracy and unauthorized use charges. You know, because they want to make sure you don't have to give that up:
The only disputes that are not covered by this Section 17 are the following:
1. a claim to enforce or protect, or concerning the validity of, any of your or EA’s (or any of EA’s licensors’) intellectual property rights;
2. a claim related to, or arising from, allegations of theft, piracy, or unauthorized use;
Pharmaceuticals mostly get into the water through people's urine. The only way you could avoid that would be to not take them (or some really expensive solution, like distilling all the wastewater).

For one, I find that the teflon pads on my mouse glide across the surface of my desk more easily than does the skin on my hand.
Think about it. That would actually result in people exhaling CO2 that wasn't already part of the biosphere. Plus, I imagine a power station would emit far more than even a very large greenhouse would consume.
As a member, I'm okay with my organization of half a million spending more time on all the other amendments when there's an organization of 4 million (the NRA) that focuses on the second amendment alone.
I'm still waiting for a company to come out with a Dvorak smartphone. You may say so now, but what will you do when the type bars in your smartphone jam? What then?
Let me see if I have this straight: The Liberals have handed control over to the Conservatives because they're afraid of losing power that they don't even use? Or am I missing a key piece of political calculation here?
Don't learn languages. Learn theory! Most of the people who've interviewed me for jobs would disagree with you there, but I find it holds true when you actually want to accomplish something.
Wrong. Electoral votes are allocated by the number of Representatives plus the number of Senators (DC gets three when we pretend it has representation). Thus, the number of representatives in a state directly influences the number of electoral votes it gets.
This arrangement complicated matters a lot when a Swede was released from Guantanamo. The US demanded guarantees from the Swedish government that he would be supervised. Since the government is expressly forbidden from giving any such orders they couldn't give any such guarantees. Sounds to me like it simplified matters.
according to wiki it will expire in 2030 in the United States. Wikipedia says it is "scheduled to expire in 2030", which is an important distinction. True, under current copyright law it would expire in 2030, but the Mickey Mouse Protection Act is all but guaranteed to get another extension in 2018, and yet another extension each time the magic year 1923 is about to pass into the public domain.
I don't think it's so important how long it takes for a cargo to get somewhere Cargo sitting on a boat in the ocean is a type of overhead and costs a business just the same as any other overhead.
Money.
the implications of huge companies with lots of economic power targeting key politicians is kind of scary.
You mean like massive campaign contributions from the recording and motion picture industries?

Sounds to me like money doesn't change people.
You don't receive any income after you're dead, which is all that's been extended since 1976.
I think you mean the 1870s.

The sun is directly overhead at 1 PM for most of the year due to Daylight Savings Time.
OH! I get it! like the horrible economic reality that its in my best interests to steal cars as long as I don't get caught
It would only be like that, if the punishment for stealing a car was less than the purchase price of that car.
... and you got to keep the car after getting caught.
I project 8.3 million, assuming the current rate is sustained (though it's likely to vary).

Everybody's waiting for SP2 to come out before they upgrade to Vista, so Microsoft might as well just crank out the service packs.

Not necessarily. Perhaps Plan A failed and this is plan B.
