The claim itself is damaging. If these hackers are lying, with the sole intent to damage T-Mobile's reputation, then they've already wildly succeeded, and the evidence they'd have to provide wouldn't require a very deep penetration at all.
So, does Opera have any functionality at least as good as AdBlockPlus and NoScript?
They are the/only/ reason I use Firefox. Really, for webbrowsers, AdBlock Plus is the killer app - if Opera can block ads at least that well, I'll be done with Firefox for good. If not, I have no reason to use it.
Stand up for yourself. It's honestly that easy. Do you ask them if you can use their bed? Do you ask them if you can use their kitchen? Do you ask them if you can use their art supplies?
They obviously don't respect you. The're just using you. Not to mention, being very rude to expect that you'd just let them use your computer.
Because how do you determine if the illegally obtained evidence is real, or faked?
Let's say you're accused of having gone out and killed somebody. The only evidence against you is illegally obtained. It might be real, it might be faked - either way, the evidence was criminally obtained.
These people who the RIAA are accusing are innocent, until proven guilty. Let me repeat that - they are/innocent/, unless guilt can be proven.
The evidence against them, was obtained criminally - again, they are innocent, unless proven guilty.
Well that's just not true. Something like a Ferrari, iPhone, XBOX, or such is just about the opposite of simple, ubiquitious, or affordable, yet each of those items is tremendously successful. That's 0 out of 3, and all of those are surviving quite well while ignoring your thesis.
Heh, I take it you don't watch American news, at least you haven't at any time during the past ten years. Remember the American invasion of Iraq? The destruction of Katrina?
Etc. - my point being that, during that time, pretty much everyone in the Bush presidency got a free ride. The media basically said 'aww shucks, wull I guess he just gosh darned tried his best, and that's what counts, right?'
In contrast, the scrutinty and out-for-blood nature of most of the news coverage of the Obama campaign since it began has been absolutely viciously hostile.
And if the citizens of Sweden don't kick the EU out, I'll rightfully consider them to be cowards. Any country that abrogates it's sovereignty in this manner isn't a country, but a vassal state, in subservience to a higher ruling power.
What makes you think they haven't thought of that? You're stating the obvious.
The reason they focus on 'life as we know it', is that/know how/ to search for 'life as we know it'.
By very definition, 'life as we don't know it' is more difficult to search for. How to you try to find something you don't know the characteristics of?
'Broader horizons' is one thing, but in a case we're trying to find extrasolar life, let's not invent artificial difficulties - it's already damn hard as it is.
Y'know, that's a very childish statement. If someone gets cancer, do you tell them 'grow up, life is hard'? What if they lose their legs in an accidnet? Are shot?
Physical and mental illnesses, diseases, and wounds are things that should be treated, not ridiculed.

How is it trolling to express relief that something so critical as /voting/ is finally being taken seriously?
It's about damn fucking time, indeed.
So you'd just rather cowardly keep your mouth shut and silently accept it?
I'm sorry, but people like you are the reason the system is so fucked up to begin with.
You should move to the US, I hear they don't have that problem. :)
Um... wow. 'controlled nuclear explosion'?
I'm an utter layman - anyone care to explain why that shouldn't be shocking?
Social engineering is an perfectly valid and entirely effective method of hacking.
Well, except that - you're wrong. This revolt /did/ work, because Facebook /did/ change their TOS in response.
What are you complaining about?
I can tell you for sure, it sure as hell isn't Firefox. I'm about to give up, and my karma rating has been 'Excellent' ages.
If your computer is encrypted, you will be told to give up your encryption keys, or be considered guilty, and immediatly imprisoned.
'Hiding', in this case, is taken to be 'evidence of something to hide', and thus, guilt.
And yet, you're posting on Slashdot. How's that for depressing? ;)

Alright the, could you let me know - in your opinion, what's the difference between 'gimmick' and 'innovation'?
Final Fantasy went downhill after VI.
Then the males you're referencing are dumb for not taking advantage of the tutors available.
Are are you saying the women are having their 'hands held' because they use tutors?
College administrators who give males money and help too. That's their job.
Forgive me, but you sound like you're trying to blame anyone but yourself, for whatever it is that's making you lash out so angrily.
Stand up for yourself. It's honestly that easy. Do you ask them if you can use their bed? Do you ask them if you can use their kitchen? Do you ask them if you can use their art supplies?

So stand up for yourself, and just say no.

Your argument is a straw-man fallacy.
Do you know any scientologists? Have any friends,or family members who are scientologists?
My friend, that is not satire in the slightest. That is what these people actually believe.
Well that's just not true, and blaming 'drugs' is an easy way to scapegoat people so you don't have to feel bad about yourself.

So what was your point again?
And of course, going by your logic, there's not /possible/ way these powers could /ever/ be abused, right? Right?
Huh, rather long to be a troll. Just flamebait then?
And if the citizens of Sweden don't kick the EU out, I'll rightfully consider them to be cowards. Any country that abrogates it's sovereignty in this manner isn't a country, but a vassal state, in subservience to a higher ruling power.
Thank god I don't live in the EU.
