    Well, obviously, Apple isn't in a monopoly position, and has not been shown to have criminal intent to abuse such a monopoly.

    Microsoft, however, has been found in criminal breach of monopoly and other laws.

    That's a pretty basic difference, right there.

    Leave fanboyism out of it.

    Well now see that's the trick. Unlike the aforementioned companites, Mircrosoft's research... what happens to it? It goes into the ether? What comes of it?

    Basic research is fine, but when you're a publically traded company, you have to turn that research into a /product/, which is something that Microsoft seems to have stalled on. Sure, they have Office, XBOX, Windows 7 coming up, and a few other things - but all told, that's pitiful, coming from $8 *BILLION* in R&D, that so far hasn't seen the light of day.

    Um, maybe because you're *not actually* running around 'killing people'.

    It's a videogame. No people are being killed. The 'pretend people' that you're 'shooting at' (pressing a butting to make a graphic appear), are not actually real people, and they are not actually being injuired, maimed, or killed.

    So, to begin with, how is it violent?

    Seriously. Why did people tolerate her? The police exist for a reason, and putting criminals like her behind bars is one of those very good reasons.

    *Also* scan all the docs into .pdf and put them all online.

    Letting criminals like your prof get away with their crimes (theft is a crime, and illegal) only encourages their deviant behavior (normal people don't steal, your prof is a deviant).

    Again, and people keep think I'm trolling or trying to be funny, but I'm being dead serious, most people under 30 DON'T HAVE OR WANT a TV for anything but videogames.

    With youtube, torrents, and the 'net as a whole, what are they losing? Absolutely nothing.

    So yeah, good sarcasm, but it kind of falls flat. Yes, everyone has heard of TV. No, not everyone has or even wants it.

    TV now is what radio was in the 80's. Mostly crap, mostly listened to by old people, or as 'background noise'.

    A single DMCA complaint will remove it, and three DMCA complaints will have your account deleted entirely.

    It doesn't matter if there is or is not anything in any of your videos which warrants a DMCA complaint - by posting anything that in any way threatens, or seems to threaten any corporate interest, it'll be the end of you.

    Well, for one thing, it's illegal, immoral, and unethical. Fighting crime by being a criminal... well, you see where I'm going with that.

    Furthermore, do you want your company to get the reputation of a malware maker and distributor? That's not likely to increase your sales.

    Beyond even that, say, for example, someone repackages the malware you release as a 'linux-iso' or somesuch. Then you would be to blame for destroying the computers of innocent people.

    Y'know, based on this, if I were your boss, I'd fire you, because you're clearly lacking in ethical stability, and making threats such as you have marks you as a company liability. Hmm.
