It depends on what your "computing experience" requires you to do. Your average slashdot user needs a bit more than what an iPad can do of course, but my parents would be 100% fine with ONLY an iPad, since all they do is browse the web and check emails.
Also, did someone say that the iPad was supposed to be used as a stand alone machine only? Your tone suggests that.
as a former huge stern fan, i've not missed him since i started listening to the adam carolla show. much funnier, less adolescent potty humor. plus, carolla has an extremely sharp wit. i don't miss stern at all.
as much as i LOVE futurama, it couldnt have ended better, and i wouldnt be sad to see that these new episodes dont happen. i hope they dont fuck it up, because the show is a true gem.
