I started playing games when you had to make up your own story, I played River Raid® longer than any Legacy Of Kain® game ever lasted. The Gran Turismo® series must have taken years of my life. A game is a game, if your in to it, you will finish it. When you lose interest, you find something else.
My only experience with federal employment is the military, and if you think we had any first amendment rights when it came to whistleblowing you are mistaken. Follow chain of command correctly, and get yourself singled out later on when you haven't done anything wrong. Granted civilians shouldn't really be treated like a volunteer military, they should be very careful on how they report wrong doing in the Federal Government. Lest they be singled out.
As everyone knows, science fiction from long ago fuelled many scientists desire to enter the field. Science continues to break new frontiers.
I was in fourth grade when NES came out but 7 years old when I got my TRS-80 and wrote my own games. The kids who played games back then undoubtably made their way into the business and continue to push the envelope today.
Um, 50% of the population is of below average intelligence? I'm sorry but if half the population is below a certain level, then the average gets lower. What is anti-intellectual is always believing what you are told and never peeing on the electric fence for yourself. Real knowledge is experienced, not taught. Everyone should realize that people are just that, people whether "smart" or "dumb" to any looking at everyone at once we equal a three-year-old. No one is really any smarter than everyone else except who we vote into office, boy they sure pull a fast one every now and again.
They want to be able top hold you WITHOUT charge for a month, then when you refuse o give up your encryption keys they have a criminal charge against you? Sounds awfully suspect to me.
Anyway, does the U.S. Judicial system have this power? If not, I can clearly see how they could do without it across th pond.
Oh, my good ole TRASH80 with over $500 in free software (a book 4 inches wide) we spent many months inseperable while everyone else wantwed the APPLE® IIC. How little they knew.
What would help tremendously is only having licensed drivers on the road. I live in South Carolina, my company was looking for a delivery driver and 75% of applicants couldn't provide a ten year DMV record because they (A) never had a license, or (B) lost it because of infractions. Yet, they drove to the interview!
About driving rights, while the government says you have no inherent right to drive, they use taxpaqyer money to build and maintain roads, and, at least here, Government officials get special tags so the law doesn't apply to them. Does anyone else see something wrong here?
In a country always looking for scandal, what else would you expect? Benifits not just to Rockstar® but to every media outlet that can publish it in time. Why would anyone who stands to make money off this want it to stop?
I have had several conversations with my doctor, and it appears to be no winning without open source pharmaceuticals, not free drugs, but non-patented medicine. If you remove power from Merk(example) and Cigna(also example), people would be able to have that relationship with their doctor. As it stand now, doctors have to see 50 or more patients a day to make money equivalent to their knowledge. Conversely, I have to help 6 customers a day to take home $40,000 a year, surely enough for my limited knowledge.
Wow! If only parents took enough interest in their children to actually pay attention to what they are buying or playing at any given time, we wouldn't even need asn ESRB! Always trust your kids, and always check up on them!
Look, I am not on a rampage to hassle people about their postings, I just would rather see a response that has woth in the subject. I don't spell all that well, but my sense of what is wrong and right is not broken.
Actually, dealing with people who try to control everthing makes those individuals seem awfully onerous. People like the leadership of China and yourself. If you understand what someone is saying, pay attention to the message, not the grammar.
Responsibility is a multi-edged sword. No one really lives up to all their responsibilities, and if you find one, I show you a person with a lot to hide. Crazy drivers, virus creators, burglers, and government officials have to be taken into account as you go through your daily routine. thay aren't all trying to get you, but, they sure as hell don't care if you live or die, or your computer aquires malicious software.
Any business reaches a point where the worry moves from how much money you need to make, to how much money you can make (a natural evolution). Once you find out how much you CAN make, you try to find every way to maintain or increase this profit margin. You will also find ways to protect your ability to make this proft, eg. every litigation used to protect intellectual property, corporate espionage, or buying your competition out. This country is not run in such a way that there is an incentive to run a fair, ethical business. It's useless to try to change corporations, you simply need to remove their influence on government, then change the government.
why not an aluminum foil headband?
The brits startred bastardizing german a long time ago. hence english languages today

Stupid is as stupid does, accidentally hit the post anonymously box ass
Sounds to me like they are not protecting official communications from federal employees, not what they say to each other on a daily basis.

Don't tell me you would refuse blood transfusions because it's too close to drinking of blood. Cause that is a true sign of a nut.
Money, Money, Money if you are not a CEO or investor in the Media Conglomerates you cannot fathom the motives of these Corporations

I'll just have to watch my HD stuff on my T.V. and use my computer for useful stuff.
Real is a corporation, and they, as a corporation, are worried about a lawsuit. We really shouldn't be.

I only get caught goofing off at work while I'm on slashdot. I argue with my boss because I'm actually learning something!
