When "capitalism" works for the little guy, all of a sudden it is unacceptable. How much crap have people taken from recruiters and companies when they have many people applying for their jobs? Suck it up sunshine.
Futile. The force of business is such that the massive Chinese market will eventually determine the course of events, and the blowback from China will become greater and greater. Google may try to separate out the West and the East, but eventually China will demand changes even in Google's Western attitude and programming. Or, just the expense and difficulty of maintaining two worldviews and code sources will cause Google to eventually make a business decision to make the Chinese way the only way. More than likely both of these things will work together to make Google a force for oppression and denial of freedoms and rights in the West. But hey, it's nothing personal, just business.
The idea that the top executive is an employee of the corporation has long ago faded. Now the top executive is more like a mafia don getting "a cut of the take," like the corporation is a criminal organization.

And if you do away with the mass of humans doing a particular area of expertise and turn it over to "AI" you will freeze that area at that level of AI expertise. The AI has no motivation array. It can't look for ways to "do it better," as humans constantly do. It cannot advance the field. AI is potentially a human disaster if too much trust is given it. Remember, Watson was built, programmed, turned on to play Jeopardy by humans. Then it was turned off when it had satisfied the motivations of its creators. It did not WANT to play Jeopardy, or anything else. It is a rock, a tool. Nothing else. Unmotivated intelligence is not intelligence. We must not rely on it.
And I said nothing about "death and destruction on the Earth." Don't change what I said to an absurdist example to suit your ego. I indicated that a nudged comet or asteroid could be dislodged and sent in the direction of the Sun and intercepted by the Earth.
And they have detected gravity waves exactly how? Motion of atoms. And things would move at the wave front. That is to say, where the wave front is not presently present would be "static." And normal water waves in the ocean are not all that energetic, but in addition they are potentially and actually sometimes huge.
Can there be rogue gravity waves in the universe that are much stronger than the gravity waves that one would expect? Or don't gravity waves reinforce that way. If they do exist, how would they show? What effects would they have? And how would we (humanity) go about finding them? A rogue wave passing through might disturb the Kuiper belt or Oort cloud and send objects speeding toward the Sun...and us. Did that happen 66 million years ago? Did a rogue wave destroy the dinosaurs?
That the cases are equivalent. The males may be taking on the more difficult cases. Or they may be given the more difficult cases. Or, they may be called in at the end as a last resort and the death is recorded to them.
There is only one direction in complexity and that is toward more complexity. There is an arrow and it only points in one direction. Eventually there will be a complexity collapse and things will start over.
Hyper-liberals have taken over comics as a propaganda outlet and continue pounding their message unrelentingly at people who just want good simple stories of right and wrong/good versus evil. As with everything, they have "adult-ized" that which was never meant for adults. They've stolen it for profit like they steal everything that they think they can make a buck off. Where can kids be kids anymore? Where is that golden age where one did not have to think about adult things? Where is kids culture now? And two: It is just part of the general complexity collapse in all things. Can anyone actually follow the histories and story lines anymore?
I hope they continue and deepen this program. It is bound to destroy their most creative individuals, who seldom fit the mold completely, or at all. Such a China is not to be feared.
Women's privilege, which lets women do and say things men cannot, must end in a time of equality. And trying to pin the problem on men is just more of what I call cherchez l'home, or search for the man behind the woman's bad behavior, speech, or attitude. If you cannot turn the genders around and find the speech and behavior acceptable, it isn't acceptable, period. And what man can make up words and phrases to attack women? We can't without the same kind of consequences she is having. It is time for equality to mean equality, not equality and special privileges.
Do it with collectibles like coins. Own the blockchain version of a particular coin. Buy and sell collectibles of all kinds without the hassle of actually dealing with a physical copy. Why not blockchain stamps also. Cars too. Anything people collect can be blockchained I believe. People who own and warehouse a thing can sell the blockchain ownership rights to it. End of physical auction houses.
Another time when we were actually human beings and not merely cells in a worldwide commercial enterprise called the internet. We don't have the right to be offline because too many companies depend on us being on line 24/7. They would plug into our brains if they could, Matrix-like. It will get worse.
How many cups of coffee did you have today? I had about 5 strong cups yesterday. I foresee people ending up in the hospital with low blood sugar on a regular basis. And it is NOT "...only present in specific beverages, such as coffee and tea..". This is just being deliberately stupid to support a thing you want to do.
