I would take the plane without the security rather than let them take more of our rights away. I don't think a full body visual scanner is a Reasonable precaution, mostly because a metal detector, and a bag scanner are good enough. If someone really wanted to take over a plane, they would, and it would be easy to do, even with all our security in place. What we are doing is letting ourselves be pushed around by the idea of "fear" instead of thinking rationally about the sitution and realizing that our rights are worth more than a few lives here and there.

That would make long distance space travel much easier to participate in, because we wouldn't have to worry about the effects of low/no gravity on the human body for extended periods of time.

This seems pretty interesting to me.

Please do not lump all Christian beliefs into one general idea, when there are many different denominations (versions) of the religion.

As far as speaking in tongue's goes, it was originally the idea that God would give the person the ability to talk to someone of a different language background. For example, a guy that speaks only English would be able to speak Mandarin Chinese fluently, without ever having studied the language. Modern speaking in tongue's is just a bastardization of that, and there are even Christian's who recognize that many people that practice it, are doing it wrong.

The combining of the phases of the waves from the two slits is what causes the pattern. I bet that instead of the phasing pattern, it would appear to look more like a reverb of sound. (steals idea from sound waves, it's still waves, just much faster.)

So unless the speed of light in your detector, and the speed of light in the air are the same, the phases of the observed waves are going to be messed with.

If you look at Old testament law then there are specific instances where it it ok to kill, ie on the battlefield or capital punishment.

However blanket killing or mistreatment of women does not line up with the bible I read. It says all have sinned. It treats everyone equally, be it men or women. Jesus treated women with respect. So I wouldn't say that the Bible says it is ok to kill women any more than it says it is ok to kill men, in certain circumstances. However the commandment is definitely do not murder.

I don't know if it benchmarks faster than xp or not, but it certainly feels faster.

I have old hardware (Athlon XP 2800+, 1 gig ram, NForce2 mb with onboard audio.) As far as I can tell there are no Vista native drivers for the audio on nvidia's website. However, the old xp drivers work just fine for audio, so....maybe people should check to see if some of their XP drivers will work on their Vista boxes.

I also tested OS X Intel on my laptop when it came (from the days of Maxxuss and Jas two years ago) and while OS X is nice, some of the ways to do things just bothered me. Sometime's I'll boot into it just to mess around or test something, but I mostly enjoy living in the XP land on my laptop, and vista on the desktop.

I can say that penetration in the College aged bracket for Facebook is well about 80%, closer to 90%. I know of a few people without facebooks, but even they have given in to getting one.

One friend had a Facebook for a day, and found out through the site that his ex-girlfriend had broken up with him. He cancelled his account and didn't get a new one until he ended up with a new one.

Another friend doesn't yet have a Facebook account because she's been too busy to set one up. She knew it would be a distraction, so she didn't set it up during the school year, and she's been working full time this summer, so it hasn't been created yet.

These are the extent of the people I know from my college friends that are on facebook.

What I also have noticed is that only 200 out of ~500+ kids that I graduated high school with are on Facebook. I'm not entirely sure what that means, but definitely only the ones that were in the popular group (jocks/preps/athletes) and the honors students are the ones that are on facebook. That is definitely something to chew on and figure out why it is like that. I know that a lot of it has to do with the .edu e-mail address requirement, as those that didn't go to college didn't get one.

Another thing I have noticed is that many older students (+3 years from my age, 20) aren't nearly as prevelant as my group, and the ones after me. I think it also relates to a certain amount of tech-savvy that it seems my younger peers have. It also probably ties to the use of computers in education.

While TFA was a bit bad, and maybe the conclusions were weak (not entirely sure why the commentary about the soldiers and the officers was there), it did provide some thought provoking reading.

The trip takes 6 hours, 9 minutes, and 13.8 seconds at 65 miles per hour.

At 75 miles per hour it takes 5 hours 20 minutes. You have now saved 49 minutes, 13.8 seconds.
