    Space is around 2.7K or, -270 C (Assuming no Extraneous Radiation)

    Why drop Out?

    I did, and it took me 5 hours (GED) to do what the drones did in 4 years. I'm now a (fairly)well paid IT consultant and going to college full time for my EE. Granted I took a couple of years off and partied and then joined the military for 4 years, but damn if I'm not more mature and well off than the "typicals" that went through the hoops.

    Wow, so now they're blaming it on a "worm"... ok. SL is like watching an MMO flipbook, the packet-loss is phenomenal while they continue to supposedly attract corporations and live-weather map projects, host in-game advertising and I'm sure making money off people somehow with Linden cash transfers. Buy some freaking servers, or get rid of the 2,700 solar-powered calculators currently running the thing.

    You are right, but 95 had 1.0 available for it (was not included in distribution) until IE3.0 came out. Version 2 was for Apple. And yes I know it was a joke, as I hope you regard my post(s)

    ok, ok. I lied about the 98 box. Somewhat, I use it for most of my games, which are somewhat older, but the only new game i play is WoW, and thats on a 2K box, with new hardware and all that good jazz. As for my WGA problems, I've never shelled out hundreds of dollars for MS' crappy OSs, so thats why its a problem.

    Any real work I do is at work, where someone else pays for all the software. And the first thing i do when i sit down at an XP box is put the 'classic' theme on. I sure hope Vista has that option. Why can't we just use command lines people?

    Upgrading to Vista?!?! lol, I still run 2K on all my machines, except the game box, that runs 98se (with tweaks for large amounts of RAM of course). Don't see me complaining about WGA, or stupid, graphics heavy UIs

    Well, in theory poster is right. We already have gigabit backbones (OC-24+), so the natural progression is to multi-gigbyte(8 gigabits per second). But the truth is, I'm waiting for my FIOS Tb/s connection to my home. That way I can download my three dimensional, holographic, tactile Pr0n in .00025 ms.

    why do we even have "country" codes? isn't the whole point of the internet to connect the world? where does politcal and geographic lines come into play here? cnn.com and cnn.co.uk should be the same site with different localization options available for users.

    What are you people thinking? How do you stay in business with all these refunds you're giving out? The ONLY time you give a refund is when you do not deliever as promised. That means selling your product for what it is. Don't ever tell someone that your system will turn lead into gold, and if it does, then it does it at its own pace. Level of proformance should not be implied, as you cannot guarantee that. Only infomercials promise to do something at break-neck speeds. ATi doesn't tell you that you'll get 60fps in Farcry, just that it does 4x AA...

    Got a difficult customer? Tell them trouble-shooting is $35/hour

    but your friend would download viruses and their ilk from the websites you are sending him to. virus corrupts the floppy and you install a trojan when you access the disk. this doesn't care what kind of connection you have, it contacts the creator who installs all you can eat malware.

    The Engadget put something up about this recently, the Optimus ZBoard is being held up with patent issues, according to their post, but the date on that one is Jul 14th 2005.

    "Unfortunately, this doesn't look like actualware quite yet as they're still waiting on a patent."

    I can't wait for that keyboard to come out, it's that fire!

    They are however, coming out with this sweet display-thingy.
