If you are doing graduate/PhD work you shouldn't be sitting in a classroom for 8 hours a day while professors cram words into your brain.

Masters and PhD work are meant to apply the knowledge you learned in undergrad (sometimes in seemingly useless ways but still).

Masters and PhD work is all about what you can do and how you present it to others.
The professor that you work under is meant to guide and direct you, not tell you everything.

Actually, I have tried several versions of the IPOD (all my friends have them) and frankly I hate it.

For one, I actually prefer a file browser type system for sorting and selecting music (assuming on-the-go playlist creation) rather than the media database based on tags. Sometimes I sort oddly based on my tastes and several times having to track down based on tag would be tedious.
Plus with my Cowon player I can attach a USB stick, USB hard drive, USB card reader and move files onto it wherever I am and can easily find them (have to sort them properly later but still) and play them. I just mentioned Cowon because that's what I currently have, but many other players with Rockbox can achieve the same functionality, but if you're going to do Rockbox, bothering with an IPod is a waste.
I also hate the ring, it never scrolls consistently for me. I don't even like the way they sort their menus.

Those are just some my dislikes about the interface. It just annoys me.

Frankly, if I find a certain skin colour more attractive than other when seeking a mate, that is my personal perogative and that is not racism. I agree with the original parent. Racial bis is different than racism. I am Caucasian, maybe I find Asian or Aboriginal women more attractive than caucasuian women, am I racist against Caucasians? The same is true for hair, if I find black hair more attractive than blond hair and actively try to avoid relationships with blondes that's not malicious. If I am avoiding a relationship with blondes because they are portrayed as stupid, that is bigotry and prejudice.

One note though is, you do need to let it load that many. If you try using firefox while its loading all those pages it cries till you leave it alone and let it finish its business.
