You didn't even need to run over all their road vehiches. At least in the original TTD, these accidents cause the company's service rating in that town to plummet, so it would get less cargo than competing companies.
The Wh is merely a more convenient way of expressing energy. It would be mighty funny to see Joe Sixpack's reaction if he saw his energy bill stating that he consumed 9 x 10^8 J (250 kWh) last month.
Who said "a" 2-4 digit code?;) These were municipal elections: you type a 2-digit code for mayor and a 5-digit code for city councillor.
Federal and state elections are even better: you vote for president (2 digits), state governor (2 digits), federal senator (3 digits), federal deputy (4 digits) and state deputy (5 digits).
For Microsoft it's important that people use their software (even if pirated) rather than the free alternatives. Of course they could have implemented a much more draconian scheme with their WGA crap, but that would simply piss off their users instead of making them buy a valid XP or Office license.
That depends on the publisher. Some of them refuse to sell their games through Steam to regions other than North America and Europe (I'm looking at you, Rockstar and 2K), leaving the rest of the world with the usually overpriced retail versions.
Examine a map of iraqi oilfields, then a map of religious/ethnic groups. Splitting the country using only the second map as a guideline is a recipe for [more] disaster.
I haven't played the game on hard yet, but that part isn't difficult if you run over the hunters with the car. I find the Combine trap at the inn to be much more challenging.
Considering Windows Update will download pretty much anything Microsoft wants into a computer running their OS, they've been quite soft on pirates, I think. WU has been around since what, Windows 98? Makes me wonder what took them so long.
You say that as a joke, but I wish he'd try to blame something like a school shooting on some harmless game like Sonic. That would certainly make him look like a fool.
Vista does have problems, don't get me wrong. Everyone I know that has used it has complained about the bloat, or lower performance in games, etc. Most of them have returned to XP in a couple of weeks. My point is that still, most new computers are sold with Vista installed these days, so saying that it has a low adoption rate is dangerous.

I think this only worked in the original Transport Tycoon, not in the Deluxe version.
Tell that to Wells Fargo...
Out of curiosity: was dcm4chee's Prefetch service not enough for your needs?
You can create an offline GFWL account. Now if only they got rid of the RGSC nags, we'd be able to launch the damn game with a single click...
Either that or a TL;DR moderation.

So, what's the hard disk used for in the 360? I've been considering getting this console, but the Elite version seems overpriced.
You forgot Bioshock. Seems that no one playtested that game with a keyboard and mouse until after people started complaining about the controls.

If a PC version is in Rockstar's plans, it'll take months to be released, just like all previous GTA games.
There's also the advantage that now you can solve your cube in zero moves.

A mod point, a mod point, my kingdom for a mod point!
That should be enough for a headcrab and a garden gnome.

No cake for you!
They're cheaper, too.
I wish they'd sell EP2 alone, since I have no interest in Portal or TF2.

Yes, I'm giving MS the benefit of the doubt, but only because most resellers ship computers with Vsta these days.
