    We have hybrids at less than 25 MPG in the states. Do you have some fuel-efficiency-boosting aura over there in Europe? Our Mustangs barely get 7 MPG, and most SUVs under 15.

    How about if we assume evolution was the creator of human beings? Civilization is the only thing that could have possibly have created 1000-pound human beings, so it is likely that the genes for the lack of insulin when overweight could have arised from a population bottleneck.

    The word citizen, in the Constitution, is only used in reference to appointment requirements, voting, and... citizen rights. The existence of the word in the Constitution itself does imply that if the word citizen is applicable to a phrase, it would have been used. Hence, "We the People of the United States of America" means, basically, us. Videlicet, who lives here. IANAL, of course.

    The Dollar is not backed by simple debts and promises. The Dollar is backed with nuclear weapons, an army of a million, about the same amount of guns, et al. If you really want a good currency, barter.

    Let's assume 25 turbines are installed, providing exactly 1.5 million gallon's worth of gas a year. Assuming 1 gallon is going to be $2.50, and that the cost for the project will be 100 million, it will take a few decades.

    These donors are brain-dead. That's dead to lawyers, doctors, surgeons, etc. There is no chance of finding out, simply because the donor will never wake up again. Brain-dead donors are the best kind of donors, because of this and the fact that their organs(besides the brain) are still alive. The face isn't a particularly necessary organ; that's why the people who need these transplants can still live, even if austerely.

    Ah, but Microsoft is still sticking it to you. You see, while their profit margin may be worse, they still make that profit, and they make that profit more, by reducing the pricing. Hence, it all evens out, but your opinion on Microsoft's business practices waver, simply because of this inconsequential thing. They're making a terrific loss on this, anyways.
