I'm still pissed at them because of Squeezebox. I have two perfectly good Squeezeboxes gathering dust because they chose to abandon the Squeezebox community. As the rest of the world moved on to UPNP and standardized home media streaming platforms, Logitech chose not to. I would be hesitant to buy any higher end products from them that fall into this category again.

It's really hard to tell what Facebook is actually doing. It has become clear that lying to congress is totally acceptable if it is to be regarded in the interests of 'National Security'. Government actors have been caught out time and time again lying to congress without consequence. If Facebook is indeed doing this, Zuckerburg would have some kind of protection in this circumstance. The more pertinent line of approach here would be to determine if Facebook receives revenue from Security actors

The Upgrade is not complex if you are in a hurry. I used ATV Flash Kodi Edition. ( https://firecore.com/atvflash-... ) It cost me about $29 but its money well spent. The installation was fast and smooth. It replaces the ATV OS with OpenElec/Kodi which is a flavor of Linux built built to serve as a media platform ( https://openelec.tv/ ) . If you are the adventurous type, you can simply install OpenElec for Apple TV 1 which is free to download. I have an external USB hub that allows me to connect as many External USB drives to my system as I wish - Which Is why I went with the ATV 1 in the first place - later versions of ATV have done away with the USB port, so you have to have NAS to access your media, which is a pain.
