As I understand these game streaming services they simmply give you a hosted windows instance on som poerfull serveres (with plenty of gpu, cpu,ram and storrage) and let you run what you want
Hold on they 20% more productive while working 20% less sorhey where 50% more productive the tine rhey actuslly where at work,if this is true (I mght have missed somrhing), this is a rather imoressive result give the emploies a15 percent pay increae ( compared tonwat they got working 5 day week and have a nice boost to your net result. And ohe ea an emploee that just got a 15% income increese and an aditional day off (or 5 shorter work days) ar less lightly to quit so reducesd cost in reqruring + retraining replacements later.
Well the game was never realy ypurs to begin with, you had an (often non transferable) to use it (other limitations probably applied as well), ok as long as the apis the game used remained compatible with yor os the game maker had no way of remotly stopping the game from working, but what game that has single player is at this point in tome depending on the developers server for single player (steam to verify keas maybe) but appart from that ?

Ention sfx/vfx renders multiple times ?

Hmm imust be lucky then non of the games i play regyraly, nor Vs 2017 communery or Davinci resolve 15 is blasring me whith ads, tru Resolve has gone tru several ui changes tha last few years but evrytime it has gitten better imho and we have gotten more features, ( fairlight and fusuion are the onse that stand out most) in both cases no ads that I have spotted (in resolves case I use the free (non studio version so, some effects and transitions are dissabld as is the fusion camera tracher and dnr. Iâ(TM)m just saying this to illustrate that not all software is a constant barrage of ads as for tekemetry, i know resolve does not d it, as (atleast the studio version) can be run on combuters without an active internet connection
Well unkess you have bremium youtube has ads, whether you see them or not is a different questin, in fact the removal of ads was my primary reason to get premium (the premium content js nit that interresting to me)8
Yous one question: are any stydios tiday yousing complete analog chains (ie mixing fx(if/when used) and recording, if not the debate about wether digital ntruducess any loss is rather academic, the loss will be there. Am i wrong in thinking ( provided you hav an eqvivalent dac to the adc used at recording time) you will get the same signal out ro your amp as you would get in the studio ( at the same bit deobt and sample rate ofc)?
Well people (at least most people) prefer what thay are used to, and for tbe most part that is(sadly) lossy compression, so thet the lossu get puced ib the studies is not surprising, when most people get presented with things that soubnd different to what thay are used to the first reaction eil ve that is sounds wrong.
What about MIDIoE so much uses ethernet as layer 1 today why not MiDI, bonus no more specualiced cables needed just gram any old network cable, 1Gbps shuld be enugh for midi right? Aded bonus you could ad dante over the same port cutiing down the number of caples snaking across the stage, and possibly ( if the kepoed can stay within tight power constraints) you might ne eble to powerr it via PoE as well, hmm. Do these monitors you talk about have hdcp and dolby vision//hdr10 support and hdmi inputs, or don the requier (as i suspect) an unenctupted sdi (I don’t remember the version with 4k support atm) inputs? I’ m not saying you are wrong, but to work with the rest of my serup at home hdmi and hdcp ( i think v2.1) is requiered, this maybor may not be true for you, that’s why I ask
