it's our job to inspire them. I've always been peeved by the assumption that 'oh, they are too young to teach that.' Expose them to the ideas, and let them decide. The other problem I see is we have a lot of educators (in the US anyway) who went to school to learn education. These people have been exposed to very little levels of math and science, and as such dismiss it often as difficult. When you hear something is difficult for the first 16 years of your life, why would you want to go into it?
It's reasonable to assume that some type of ESD protection would be built in. The first thing that popped in my head was the old EMP scenario from the movies.
the theory of a holographic universe will have some evidence of non-smoothness in space-time and perhaps a foothold in bringing light to the heavily debated theoretical physics."
Bringing light into theoretical physics eh? That might just be crazy enough to work!
Just because he didn't vote doesn't mean it was due to voter apathy. My home county (in NY) ignored my request for an absentee ballet, and was unable to vote.
I've found that in these type of touch screen keyboard systems its best to try to just tap out the word as quick as possible, not worrying about the mistakes. I can't speak for that particular phone, but all the mobile OS's I've used do a pretty good job of matching possible words to the areas of the keyboard you tapped in sequence. It's still pretty annoying.
I was able to load Android on the free xv6900 I got from Verizon. It's definitely less of a pain to use than WM6, but I don't have a data plan so I can't really use many of the features.
If you haven't tried the new sensor(I don't remember what its called), and Tiger Woods 2010, I'd recommend it. It captures most of the essence of a golf swing, the only thing its really missing is the feel of striking the ball and club hitting ground.
No, you won't ever use pythagorean theorem to solve relationship problems in your love life
What if it's just the right love triangle?
If I were building a superswitch, it would easily be category 5e or category 6 ready.
Slashdot doesn't have a built-in LISP interpreter.
You can't really group US education into one big lump. Quality of education varies widely across the nation. Sorry for feeding the troll.

...and you don't get to play Darth Vader and "alter the deal, pray I don't alter it any further" down the road.
Isn't that exactly what these companies do all the time when they change they're policies without notice?

You should write books and have Tom Clancy slap his name on it.

the best "early-childhood education technology" is still interaction with parents, in a secure environment.
How does one SSH into their parents?
