I've had DVD players that have broken on me, but I still have two VHS players that work, one from '88 and one from '93, so thats my anecdotal counterpoint.
The worst part of OS X is its flash implementation. I can't have my Macbook Pro on my lap if something using flash is running. I think it's time for Adobe to optimize its products for OS X and Linux.
Last night I purchased the new Call of Duty map pack, practically solely for the new zombie level. At $8, it was pretty pricey, but I know we'll play it enough to justify it. But you can't just get $8 worth of Microsoft points, you have to get $12.50. Bullshit.
I worked for Best Buy two years ago, and even then Circuit City was not our competition (what our managers told us.) What Best Buy is worried about is people going to WalMart and Dell. Circuit City stopped being competitive a long time ago.
The GP was commenting on the fact that a memristor is not linear time invariant element. So it isn't as basic as the other 3. The other three can be analyzed using fairly simple analysis, while the memristor seems to introduce state to a circuit. Circuits that are time linear, and time variant are more difficult to analyze on a broad scope than those that are LTI.
I've been periodically checking my MSDN AA site, but it hasn't been put up yet. I was considering using it as the OS on the machine I just rebuilt for my non-technical brother, but I ended up using Vista. I hope the UAC things annoy the shit out of him, as he does me;).
There ought to be a more diversity in the mathematics curricula that exist. Spending the first 8 years of mathematics on arithmetic is a waste of time. Too much emphasis is thrown on algebra and stupid concepts in geometry (shape names etc.) It's time to start teaching kids that there is more to mathematics than y=mx+b. Introduce them to boolean algebra. Why do all studies have to be of continuous time systems? There should be a survey class of different areas of mathematics, which doesn't emphasize the right answer per se, but emphasizes the right tools for the question.
The increase in tuition wouldn't be so bad, if it stayed in education. I go to a SUNY school, and we're getting a $300 tuition hike from the state next year, and something like 10% of that stays in education. Then they cut the budget by 5 million. This guy is robbing us... blind?
I recall a year or two ago, the group at www.modtheater.com had tried to contact EA to get the game source for the game. EA responded saying that they would happily oblige, but they no longer had the code, or they didn't know where they kept it. Whether that was just a bunch of BS, who knows, but it looks like they shit can stuff too.
This generally means rearranging the chapters and sections to coincide with the curriculum designed. My professor did this, and it was a huge favor to all us students. Because its a custom edition, you cannot sell it back, because it lacks national resale value.
I think it would be kind of cool to have a screen there, or even just along the bottom of the glass, that had the dock replicated in some fashion. You could just tap on the application and bring it up.
Why not just kick his ass already? The only thing wrong is that he might be used to it.

That's what you get for being a sox fan.

I bought a tube of thermal compound from BB two weeks ago. You might wanna ask someone next time you go to the store.
True, but Steve Jobs wasn't in Roadhouse. That drops his odds significantly.
In Soviet Russia, ass wipe YOU!
How can you be certain?

He must be using the new Macbook Wheel.

I think all these strengths with no real interest in pursuing mathematics or science may lend to her being interested in linguistics.
They use Firedog to prevent firesales.
Are you sure that's not a Spore trailer?
They sell them at Home Depot between the perpetual motion machines, and the objects of mass m.
Oh boy!

Damn I wish I had some mod points, this definitely should have a +5 Interesting on it.
putting it on VHS?
