Jesus... checking out slashdot today and realizing a screwup like that one up seems like waking up after blacking out, and finding out that you blacked out and punched a hooker in the face. Well, the nerd equivalent to that. Please mod -7, brainfart.
I would have tried out the FIOS dealie, as its coverage is not widespread in my area, maybe it's not as congested as Comcast or RCN. For some god forsaken reason... there's no fiber lines on my side of the street.
I find my suspension of disbelief when playing baseball games to be a bit lacking with all of the fake advertisements that replace the notable real ones (ex. the Citgo sign at Fenway Park). This is a special case, but it is something that bugs me.
As I'm 2 episodes away from re-viewing the first season...
Ice is the episode where they find the parasites that came from ancient ice cores. Darkness Falls is the ancient mites from tree rings one. Both awesome episodes. YMMV, but X-Files seasons were only $20 at my local Best Buy this week.
Darkness Falls definitely had the best ending of any of the early season "monster" type episodes.
As an aside, having stopped reading Nintendo Power for about 10 years, they certainly seem to have the balls to knock a bad game around. In the golden age, the good points seemed to be emphasized much more... I don't remember many harsh criticisms.
Technicality possibility: Dumbledore wasn't dueling with Draco, he was body binding Harry, so he was not protected from Draco. Draco still disarmed Dumbledore, so he was the owner of the wand.
In my head, I file Just Cause under this category. The absolutely anemic "content" of the game is outweighed by insane character personalities and a complete disregard for any and all laws of physics. The overuse of motion blur, and the hilarious nature of the glitches I've run into strike me as the video game equivalent of zippers and strings in monster movies.
I live in Boston and love the Red Sox. I got caught spoofing my address so i could watch sox games on MLB.tv (this was against their rules, so my B), so I bought a slingbox. I don't see how steaming my slingbox from one location to another (home to work, inside my own apartment sometimes) inside the same zip code is bad kharma. I'm still inside the broadcast area.
I'd like to bring to light the biggest problem with the MLB, the Hawaii MLB blackout policy. Hawaii is blacked out of Dodgers, Giants, Angels, Athletics, and I believe Mariners games. Do they show ny of those locally in Hawaii? No. Do residents of Hawaii effect stadium attendance at any of those parks? No. One of the dumbest things any current broadcaster does. Let your fans pay to see your danm games if they want to.
obviously this shows that DRM and security measures are working.
or that more people are lying out of their asses.
or that a different group of people were surveyed.
I bought mine because the student discount and solid replacement plan allow me to cheaply carry 80gb of music and video. I buy DRM-free albums from emusic, and most of what I get from Itunes I get free from AppleStudents on Facebook, so I'd care less if I lost it. The last line slag stinks of iPod hater.
If anything, the article talks about even more uses for an iPod. RTFA.
from the first time that you look in a mirror and see a zombie behind you, i knew doom 3 was a bad choice to play at night.
I've got nothing better to do tonight, maybe I'll start Sweet Home.

Are they sure it was a Rocket?
Are they sure it wasn't Daikatana 2?
Office 2007 users don't like posting documents on the interweb.
When I used to review CD's a couple years ago, the promo copies we got were all watermarked per publication. They would track the leaks that way.
All I get when I play with microwave photons is a persistent fish smell in the kitchen.

or how much of that 90% you miss when you're riding the bus to work in the morning.
It's a great marketing tool because you are free to use the music as you wish, on whatever device you want... and people can pirate it.

And also, the bible's language is completely at the mercy of the translators of the translators of the translators... so to speak.

if i wanted to make a creepy windows mask, i'd make a windows ME mask.
anyone else get the chills?
good luck getting them to share the recipe
I believe that the CIV 3 includes the expansion packs.

I wonder if it's broadcasting about this story.
woah META NEWS
I'd settle for a short answer question about at least one of the candidate's platforms.

hopefully this motivates some of the lazier ones among us to actually crawl out of their holes and vote, instead of just complaining.
