    You know that Thunderbird has a ways to go when the #1 extension is minimize to tray??

    I don't think that the order has any significance.

    Anyway, it's way better to use DM2. Then you can minimize *any* application to the tray or a desktop icon.

    That's what happens when you market stripped down versions and feature full versions at the same time. It's like being promised a BMW and getting a Honda instead. Most average users don't understand all these differences and the sales person happily told them "Vista will run on it" to make a sale.

    You see the bolded text up there? That would be why it's not exactly Microsoft's fault.

    The sales person was Bill Gates.

    That figure is for the city of Chicago, the state as a whole is about 3:1

    People buy iPods because it has the most accessories. The iPod has the most accessories because people buy iPods.

    Nonsense.....people by iPods because the work. They work quite well. And, as has been mentioned many, many times before, the vast majority of music on most peoples iPod's is NON DRM.

    That's a "standard" feature of all Windows OS's and a key baseline test for release.

    This rediculous idea that we need to "spread freedom to the world" is about as well placed as people trying to "save my soul" The desire and initial action must come from within in order for any real change to take place.

    Once you have a bi-directional UDP packet exchange going, (it's not a connection like TCP) but it is in some sense an unreliable connection. You can then route TCP over it (grab packets from /dev/tap or /dev/tun) , or use a user space TCP stack connection or use something like my ECIP (http://www.ecip.com/ [ecip.com]) over it.

    In "some sense an unreliable connection"? In every sense it's an unreliable "connection". There is 1) no connection 2) no reliability. What more do you need?

    The article describes a general technique that can be used to trick most firewalls into believing that a UDP connection has already been established.

    There is no such thing as a "UDP connection". UDP is connection-less. TCP uses connections.
