Seeing as I don't buy computers (I buy parts and then assemble them), this doesn't affect me much, but all the same it's good that people are getting more choices.
But sometimes, if you listen to audiophiles, you'll hear totally retarded things like how some brand of CD-Rs will provide clearer-sounding recordings.
Those are the ANALOG CD-R's they're talking about...
That's what happens when you market stripped down versions and feature full versions at the same time. It's like being promised a BMW and getting a Honda instead. Most average users don't understand all these differences and the sales person happily told them "Vista will run on it" to make a sale.
You see the bolded text up there? That would be why it's not exactly Microsoft's fault.
People buy iPods because it has the most accessories. The iPod has the most accessories because people buy iPods.
Nonsense.....people by iPods because the work. They work quite well. And, as has been mentioned many, many times before, the vast majority of music on most peoples iPod's is NON DRM.
"Reinstalling. My hard drive crashed. I have to install Windows 3.1 from floppy, then upgrade to Windows 95, then upgrade that to Windows 2000, then upgrade that to XP and finally upgrade to Vista. I'll be finished in a couple of days."
This rediculous idea that we need to "spread freedom to the world" is about as well placed as people trying to "save my soul" The desire and initial action must come from within in order for any real change to take place.
Once you have a bi-directional UDP packet exchange going, (it's not a connection like TCP) but it is in some sense an unreliable connection.
You can then route TCP over it (grab packets from/dev/tap or/dev/tun) , or use a user space TCP stack connection or use something like my ECIP (http://www.ecip.com/ [ecip.com]) over it.
In "some sense an unreliable connection"? In every sense it's an unreliable "connection". There is 1) no connection 2) no reliability. What more do you need?
Yah, you read the articles now cuz you've worn the pictures out!
.........at the bottom of the ocean.......
My install is about 23MB. Don't forget that this is MULTI protocol IM client.
So you build your own laptops?
I don't think that the order has any significance.
Anyway, it's way better to use DM2. Then you can minimize *any* application to the tray or a desktop icon.

It's all Greek too me.....
The sales person was Bill Gates.
That figure is for the city of Chicago, the state as a whole is about 3:1
I believe that you bait first, and then switch ;)
Did you also like the dimensions in the Product Details? Product Details * Product Dimensions: 1 pounds

Just like the Microsoft OS
You talk about my wife one more time and I'll.......................
It's called recapitulation ;)
That's a "standard" feature of all Windows OS's and a key baseline test for release.
I'd ask for couple of DAYS to review it. Don't rush it. Make sure it's what you want!
No, but design does imply a designer. So take it from there...........
Beside, every device should have a friggin' laser beam....... muwhaaa
Most "soul savers" don't do it at gun point.

ECIP sounds very much like what Digital Fountain is doing http://www.digitalfountain.com/entry.asp?PageID=11 9
The standard for 3D design is the GIMP!
or far, far better use Ruby
There is no such thing as a "UDP connection". UDP is connection-less. TCP uses connections.
