No, nobody has considered that because it's meaningless - especially to Joe Movie Watcher. Both HDDVD and BluRay have more than enough space to provide existing movie content. Look at most HDDVDs, there's usually quite a bit of free space even with extras etc... Well, yeah, there is enough space on there for the current model we have for watching, but what if we change the model? What if instead of a season of television spanning 4 DVDs it just spans 1 blu-ray disk and is all in 1080p?
If you're at best buy, and you ask the sales guy the difference between Blu Ray and HD DVD, what is he going to tell you that is relevant to your inerests?
Is the DRM model on each relevant? Well, if you need to talk to a sales guy at best buy, then chances are you don't even know what this is; so no.
Is the capacity relevant? Well, not really (of course they both have enough space to hold a movie), but if you need to decide between two (seemingly equal) players, and you're told that one of them can hold more data, which are you going to choose?

The answer is, obviously, blu ray.

If you still can't tell the difference, reflect that breathing air causes you to stay alive and breathing nitrous oxide causes "analgesia, depersonalization, derealization, dizziness, euphoria, sound distortion and slight hallucinations". You're taking what I said out of context. Read the post that I replied to. They're talking about using compressed air "like a turbo". Obviously whoever posted it has a very limited knowledge of automotive performance. I called N2O "air" so that they would understand the correlation.

As far as N2O vs O2s effects on a motor: go talk to a mechanic, specifically one that deals with high performance engines. Ask them why you need to use N2O instead of straight O2. Every single one is going to tell you that O2 burns too hott. The nitrogen helps cool the motor down.

Why is this such an issue? You obviously have no clue what you're talking about. My OP was not inflammatory at all, just calm down.

maybe similar to how a Turbo or SuperCharger works, only rather than increasing the acceleration, the energy goes toward fuel economy. What your describing is called "Nitrous Oxide". It is compressed air with nitrogen added for its cooling effects on a motor. Adding compressed air to an engine increases the amount of air in the cylinder, and allows you to increase the amount of fuel in a cylinder without making the mixture too "rich" (rich means too much gas, lean means too much air).

Adding compressed gases would allow high performance to be gained out of a small motor, but would not increase the overall fuel economy of said motor.

For 50'000 EUR *less*, you'd get four seats, a pickup-sized cargo bay AND as much horsepowers, so the Porsche is clearly bad value." :) You're really close (okay, no you're not even remotely close on this one).

A better analogy would be a Nissan Armada vs an Infiniti QX56. The Armada dn the Infinit are very very similar vehicles. The difference is:

The armada can't pull my boat
The armada can't fit all the kids AND their snowboards
the armada can't fit 6 full sized adults comfortably
the armada is quite a bit smaller
The armada doesn't have some of the features of the QX56 like standard navigation, backup camera, heated seats etc. etc.

But the armada IS basically a smaller version of the same body, minus a few features of course. An armada is certainly not a CHEAP car (its a really nice SUV)...but it is certainly not in the same class as the infiniti.

Now, an armada, due to its lack of features, is a much MUCH cheaper car than the infiniti. Some might say that this doesn't make sense. An armada is a much more practical car than the Infinit...it gets better gas mileage, it will fit into smaller parking spaces, it looks better. etc.

Same thing in Air vs Macbook pro. The pro has more features than the air does. The air should be looked at like a stripped down "budget" version of the macbook pro that is aimed at travelers.
