I have two android "phones" with no service, I'd buy this one if they sold it without service and cheap. I use mine as a mini tablet and the other as a PDA.
I put my facebook account on hiatus about a year ago, I was considering deleting it entirely soon. This sounds like a much better state to leave it in.
They have intermittent teleconferences at around 10:30 am, they should mention the info then. I think they said the next one was scheduled for Tuesday on Fridays conference. Check the news link posted also keep an eye on the ustream feed. http://www.ustream.tv/nasajpl
I use my android unlocked gti5500 as an ebook reader and for audio books. I've been reading ebooks for close to 10 years on handhelds, started out with Palm. Only issue I have is locating non DRM ebooks and PDF,s . I picked up a $99 HP touchpad and it works ok for reading PDF , except the PDF reader kinda blows. I actually find it easier reading ebooks on a smaller screen as my eyes aren't scanning sideways as much. So I'd recommend a tablet for tech manuals and your phone/pmp for regular books.
I ran accross this also. One of my online friends parents constantly get her PC infected with spyware and such. She is not a techie and I've tried helping her with getting spybot, etc. I finally just had her download firefox. Her reply " Yahh, I can check me email now" lol
I still keep my old serial palm pilot to login and change the time on my Tivo and login to my headless server if I'm too lazy to grab a monitor. I also in the past used login to a DEC terminal server, using a modifed serial to RJ45 adapter. They used those on PC's as well, I pretty much null modemed the adapter.
Same here, I couldn't get it to work until I read those pesky instructions. Maybe the exploit needs to be updated for us middle clickers who can't follow directions. lol
I get spam to roughly 3 accounts. www@mydomain, I use that everywhere, usenetMMYYY@mydomain, I rotate that every few months and remove the alias. And the only issue I have with spam is one of my friends decided 4 years ago that I need 12 free CD's and posted my main myfirstname@mydomain on a web site. I'm still getting spam to that address but it comes in spurts. It seems its sold to a new Spam agency every 6 months and I spend about 2 weeks putting more DENY's in sendmail, I get a break for a few months after that. I also use the www address to update my ACCESS list for sendmail.
Oh ya, that was funny. Except when I read the link with the space in it, I thought it was going to be a story about god as Yoda and he was an MS hater.
I'm a part time musician with a nice Ensoniq KB. I saw the info on the front page a few weeks ago about wanting musicians. But alas, Not link or readily available info. I poked around a bit, found some info on sound samples, then gave up.
I'm not sure if I have quickload on, I can't seem to find that setting. I was able to install and use a theme to see if installing works. I did exit and restart the browser.
I just started using the 30 second skip a few seeks ago and I think I'll go back to the FF method. One, I tend to hit the 30skip one to many times and end up back tracking too often (athough Iam getting better). Two, I miss all the commercials, some are pretty funny. Three, I miss the ads for upcoming programming. Most of the new shows or movies I watch are from the station preview ads.

instead of blocking everyone, why not send requests from .us or gov domains to a custom page or block entirely.
This is a bit off topic, but does anyone remember when PB posted Arcade game high scores back in the 80's? If so, do you know what issues those were.
>>For education you dont need Xwindows. Command lines is fast on PIII.
;) I actually found midnight commander but miss typing mv.
>Grammar is helpful though.
And A typo in unix will get you another command
You can do just about the same thing using Deep Freeze, albiet it's not as funny ;)

I can't get that SNL Arnold impersonation out of my head lol
I hadn't until now. I just ran across whitebox linux which seems to do the same thing. Anymore out there? Any comparisons?

I put "The number you have reached is not in service at this time" message on my machine a few years back.
:)
I went two months with no messages on my machine, my friends thought my number was disconnected and stopped calling me.
sf.net is not blocked, if that helps anyone. Unfortunately it resolves out to sourceforge.net after entering the site.
Sure I would kill and butcher a cow myself. It probably wouldn't be edible after I got done with it.
Well if they do port it I hope they dont make the 30 second skip button the fire button, cause I already wore it out theiving commercials.

Are they really looking for music or what?

Is that Netscape RC1 or Mozilla RC1? I'm using MozillaRC2 and it doesn't appear to be working.
If I record something on PBS and I skip over the part where they ask me to donate, are they going to call me a pirate?
