She. Not only does summary mention that this is the "Women's under 23", amusingly her first name is Femke which literally means "girl" or "little woman" (see French "femme")
... I am not sure how much I would appreciate this, as I can only assume it would mean this would mean a ramping down of services to help educate me and integrate me into Finnish society (I am from the Netherlands originally).
That said, if they would still do as much in these other areas rather than say "hey, we don't need to do any of this anymore because we've already made sure you're not dying" I would be cool with this, and I could actually work after/between school (they are starting my schooling in a few days)
The spin of the electron dictates the value of the quantum bit, or "qubit." For example, an up-spin can represent a one, or a down-spin can represent a zero -- or the qubit can occupy both states simultaneously.
So we have a start of technology not just for quantum computers, but even for trinary quantum computers?
Last I read at the current rate of usage, we have about enough Uranium left for 50 years, now if there's going to be Nuclear plants all over Europe to, wecould probably reduce that number to 30.
And don't start with "we can filter it from seawater", because that's not economically possible.
Is that the police are at his house a month after he shut down the site. Sort of seems like going after a suspected murderer after giving him a month to leave town.
Is anyone else wondering why this article is under "Windows", just because it happens ot run windows? Seems strange to me since the problems are caused by the extra software, and not windows itself.
Heh. This story is only a few hours old and look at the latest Gentoo ebuild's changelog

patch to fix history DoS
So much for unpatched.
It is open source and written in Perl, with installers for Windows and Mac OS X as well as RPMs for Linux.
What about a configure script or makefile to build it from source? It would be perfect if I could just add an ebuild for it to my portage owerlay to install and unistall thourgh portage.
From the article: The offer required them to respond to INFO@targetdata.biz, a site registered to Haephrati. Responding to them would unleash the Trojan, which, according to records of the investigation, was impervious to antivirus and anti-Trojan software.
How does simply sending an email "unleash" the trojan?
I Think it's one of the most polished player on the Linux desktop. I really don't like the way xine and MPlayer have their controls, and Totem is lacking in other departments. The only other player on Linux that has this polished look is realplayer but well... it's realplayer.
I think the parent deserves to be modded up. If we see how often it's adsense makes a critical miss on someone's interest it is clear they do not know what you're thinking.]And Then there's the fact that if I want a picture of new-born chickens I'll get all sorts of filth.

Like for many other commenters, this would be enough for me to make a browser switch.

Such foul language.
Yeah, it's an unpredictable cancer-inducing mutation of the original variation of "safe".

Likewise, Microsoft says metadata searches will be integrated into its Vista OS, which ships later this year.

Let's leave well enough alone. It's basically the same as this.

I enjoy Advance Wars DS or Meteos, but the only place my portable gamestation is traveling is over to my friends to play said games against him.

So will IE also take over the icon for RSS in all the different themes for Mozilla? Because my rss iocn doesn't look like the default one at all.

Lord knows Microsoft needs a Superhero to counter all the bad code they've written so far.

I use MSN (aMSN) because all my friends do. (It's the popular protocol here) Other than that I ditched Skype for Givmo today.

I welcome our immortal regenerating overlords.
How about all those Gentoo Linux users that have (nearly) everything on their systems built from source? (like me)
There was this company who sold mp3players with a tiny (much tinier than this) linux distribution on it. http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=04/10/15/025823 3
