OH....for f*ck sakes, let me do my roast, my barbecue or whatever the burning carbon hell I want in my house.
To the darkness with these useless studies. Life is short. You will die anyway! You prefer to die with 85 or 90? Duck off!
My Inbox is ALWAYS at zero unread messages. Even a few days after when I return from vacation. I really don't know what is the big deal, you have to find slices of time and prioritize what needs response to what doesn't (example: automatic alert messages does not, since I work managing IT Infrastructure services).
My priority is always my Inbox, or Skype pop-ups.
Common, people, learn to manage your time.
Resume is available under request.:)
I am SO sick of the Marvel and DC Comics clichés that, really, those news are almost a relief.
We hope something more interesting takes its place.
Thanks, Netflix, for cleaning up.
Apple can launch whatever they want. I will NEVER buy anything overpriced from them.
Never had, never will.
No wonder they are losing sales and sales year after year.
I am not sure but I think I have been using these type of gesture in my Moto 5 in the last two years.
Swipe left to go back, swipe right to show running apps. There is a fingerprint sensor involved, and no other physical buttons.
Curing patients is very bad for Capitalism. It is much more efficient to just keep manufacturing drugs and "controlling" an ilness instead of curing it.
Phuckers.
In the very first year Huawei started to operate in Brazil, I was working for Siemens Telecommunications.
We got very surprised to discover Huawei was getting contracts from our long term clients and Siemens was being left aside.
Somene was able to get a hold of the equipment that has been sold and was operating in the customer and took many pictures of it working. We were surprised to found out Huawei had cloned all Siemens hardware and even the operating system for the devices, they did not even changed the prompt design, only replaced "Siemens" by "Huawei". And charged 70% cheaper than us. Nice company.
To the hell with Motorola after Lenovo acquired it. The support got pure crap and you only receive shop news through the Motorola news channel, nothing about new functionalities or fast updates like they were in the past.
After my third Motorola phone (after Lenovo unfortunately acquired it) I don't give a damn for this brand anymore and will change to another brand I already tested and liked it a lot and won't praise or mention here so people don't start "XPTO FANBOY".
New cell phones today have NO NEW TECH nor any breakthroughs, anyway.
I think it's a matter of choosing what technology you will allow to enter your life.
I usually wait for it to mature and never adopt anything in the early stages. I'd never have a Voice assistant in my home for such reasons shown in the article. And probably never will.
I also cancelled my Facebook, instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn 3 years and 9 months ago and proudly wait for every anniversary. I really don't miss any functionality off them.
Choose what tech you will grant access to your life before buying or participating.
That happened to me three or four times already. They die without warning. No SMART indication, nothing. It really pisses us off.
Someone needs to technically give us some kind of anticipation. Maybe SMART is not supposed to work well with SSD after all.
Good that he figured out.
Success in school/college/good grades or even high QI or intelligence is definitely NOT a guarantee of any success in life. I am the living proof.
One needs Emotional Intelligence. Add Networking and Relation with People. Everything in this world is about persons. It does not matter how much you know, if you don't know how to involve/treat/talk with people your chances are dim.
I simply think that Apple admirers deserve the price they pay for ridiculously expensive hardware that, for Apple, is costing less and less.
People who buy Apple products are either stupid or looking for design and status.
I am going for my four-year anniversary next april without Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter.
My life is better without social media.
And I don't waste time with bullshit anymore, nor I have to dodge invites from people I don't know or want.
I found everyone I wanted to find from the past, together with a bunch of jerks I did not want to find. So, Facebook is simply useless.
I created a ghost account with nothing on it because some stupid companies only use Facebook. And that's that.
I'm so glad I entered into bitcoin, made 150% profit over my investment and left one week after the crash with all my original money and profit intact. All of that in like a month or so.
Many did not have the same luck. Money exchanged hands quickly in december and january...
I was very lucky. Got it all into Bitcoin in November or so and left December 10, 2017. Made more than 150% in roughly a month with a bit of trading.
A week after, the thing crashed here. I was very...very lucky, nothing more than that.
Currently, I have nothing invested anymore.
I never saw the point in using Twitter, other than reading peoples and celebrities rants and other meaningless social attitudes like Instagram.
I'm pretty fine without it, for the last 3 and half years.
Right. We don't even know how to end poverty or what to do with our trash and now we want to control the climate. Stupid humans.
This JIBO just looks like an animated Alexa, that piece of hardware only stupid people buy.
Brazil did that two years ago, to good results. https://labiotech.eu/medical/o...

Assuming you know **it about it.

Right. The smartest ones are those that pay 3x more to have the same technology, but with a fruit figure etched into its frame.

I swear I thought Amazon was going to install Counter Strike on all schools. Think before using acronyms, people.
Sorry, I meant "one week before the crash", obviously. LOL

The tip of grain rice would be 2 x 2 x 2mm maximum, otherwise it would fit over a grain rice, not in its tip.
Phawk Slashdot, how come I didn't read any of this last week in Slashdot???? Damn you!
