It could be part of their long term business strategy to always keep previews and movie promotions current, as opposed to the way we currently watch a 5 year old movie and see previews for 5 year old movies.
It's not just Homeowners' Associations. I have lived in three cities that made deals with the cable companies to be the only provider, and the phone companies did not offer DSL yet. I suppose satellite was an option, but I have not heard good feedback about their service or value. Fortunately, Time-Warner had good uptime and did not cap usage.
TFA shows examples of the planet orbiting one or both of them on the same plane as the stars, but could it occur that a planet would orbit around the axis through the stars? Do solar systems form with that pattern or are they typically coplanar? In both cases, both sunsets would be visible at least part of the year.
I agree. How is Blackboard the standard for apps that work all the time anyway? I have used it at two different universities and it is still buggy in XP. Specifically, assignments turned in through the Assignments tab (forced because Dropbox is no longer supported) do not always show up as read or completed when they are.
If they can't make Bb work in an environment that has existed for years, why would we expect them to jump on Vista development?
I use that feature so I can leave the windows cracked with my dogs in the car for a short bit while I run into a store. That way the dogs don't overheat. If you want to reach in to unlock a door, go ahead.
I had a similar situation occur when I needed service on my Sony Vaio. Since I owned a legitimate XP Pro license I purchased the computer with XP home. When the computer kept spontaneously rebooting I sent it in for repair and it came back with the factory configuration - XP home loaded and no hdd partitions. They claim that they only replaced the processor cooling fan. Apparently their troubleshooting only works with the OEM system configuration too.
I do the same thing - the computers stay on to heat the rooms and are probably more efficient than our heat pump since it has moving parts to waste energy outside the house while 100% of the heat from the computer stays in the room
Why upgrade? If I use a flat screen and efficient power supply my furnace will cycle more.
I disagree. Work for free when it benefits you in the long run; for instance, you are learning a new technology, language, etc., which makes you more marketable in the future. Just don't list on your resume that you work for free!!
Developers may want to expand their markets to non-technical users so they have a larger paying customer base to fund innovation.

Now it makes sense. Maglite cases are waterproof - I always wondered how a laser would yield a warm meal for a shark or mutant sea bass.
Just ran this through Google marketing and legal - we are going to re-brand it: The iWar
Why don't they just take the empties back on the return trip - or do they leave the ships here too?
Ahh yes, the Emperor's new clothing line.

It looks like they are dragging dad along because he is carrying that _26 lb._ suitcase with him. It ain't no laptop!!
Go Browns!!
Weren't they warned never to cross the streams??

I think that it qualifies for a Darwin Award if he removes his ability to reproduce but continues living.
I can't resist... Fewer people are killed by blind hunters each year than by full-sighted hunters. Much safer. ... there!
If Microsoft starts development now and targets a launch in 5-6 years, the next gen should be ready in 10 years or so...

Try that with a car battery and let me know how it turns out.

I suggest a plant that, as a byproduct, releases ozone and smells like fresh berries.
Don't forget about coming in on Saturday... Oh, and by the way, I'm going to have to ask you to go ahead and come in on Sunday too...
If I could buy a new car for $1000 I would scrap it instead of changing sparkplugs!
I'll have to learn how to fold Origami CD-cases since I won't be receiving the free ones in the mail :(
