...but instead of some sort of recognition or reward for increased efficiency, they removed one of our team members. I guess I can at least put it on my resume and apply for a better employer...
Less reason to cut down trees. I still know some people at work who print emails before reading them though, what is wrong with these people? I try to be a good example and casually mention how I avoid using paper in various ways when describing my tasks to others as well as in meetings, but it doesn't seem to make an impression...
How is it a controversy to reflect reality? How is it unsuitable for kids to say that there are different sets of parents, male/female, male/male, and female/female? The kid already knows from going to school and seeing it in other media, who cares if it's in this game too?
For me, it's how many years the battery will perform well, how much it costs to replace it, and what kind of environmental damage/costs for properly disposing of the old battery.
I'm just running XBMC on a raspberry pi, less expensive and it just works with my TV's remote. Plays my 1080p videos just fine. Until x265 becomes supported in XBMC, I should be fine. Will the Fire TV have enough processing power for x265, and does it support HDMI-CEC?
Thus, even if you have access to a movie for free through Netflix, using the Voice Search for that movie will only bring up Amazon's paid options.
This is also the problem with the Xbox One, it only searches the MS store and none of your apps like Netflix or Hulu. It also can't search your DVR to suggest shows/movies you have already recorded.
Like AMD's Mantle API, it promises reduced CPU overhead and lower-level access to graphics hardware. But DirectX 12 won't be limited to one vendor's hardware.
Mantle will work on this hardware as well, and won't be limited to one vendor's operating system. From AMD's Mantle FAQ
I'm sure there will be games made specifically for it that will have an appropriate detail level for achieving 1080p/60fps. Most games on PS4 aren't upscaled, I think you mean the Xbox One.
I don't go there, neither do some of my friends. A lot of people I know do, from all age ranges, but about half of the people I know also don't go there, again from all age ranges.
They're bothering because it got kickstarted, so they kind of have to follow through, and more importantly, people want it on Windows RT so they can play ripped movies on their tablet since it doesn't have a DVD/BluRay drive.
I wish they'd make something easier to hold or put in your pocket, the triangle shape of PonoPlayer is horrible. I don't like the buttons either. It doesn't look like it'll be useful for other things like a WiFi web browser, which is disappointing as well, I don't want to have to carry multiple devices around, and I do want a WiFi web browser device with me at all times. Nice idea though, good luck with it.

Great way to foster IBS!
They refused to agree to the revised terms which are unnegotiable, which indies are claiming to be unfavorable.
Are there still people asking this question? Seriously? Please don't be so shallow.

Especially when most PCs ship with a keyboard that has a back button.
Wouldn't it be cheaper to have gotten proper filter masks and ventilation for the workers?

Once they bookmark the site... Then what? I barely use a search engine anymore... I already bookmarked all the sites I like.
When players won a round, they tended to repeat their winning rock, paper or scissors more often than would be expected at random (one in three).
If it was truly random then anything could happen, including a game where the opponent only chooses scissors the entire time.

When robots do all the work, the human race will be able to have more leisure time! That's what they told us in the 60s right?
That, and the fact that it's an MMO in a series that has traditionally been a single player character-driven story-based adventure.

Why destroy them? Why not ship them back and have the cases changed/painted? This is gross.

Well that should make anarchists like Kevin O'Leary happy.

You need it installed to receive communications, don't you? If you're hurt by what you see, why not uninstall it?
My grandma's fine with Ubuntu running Gnome 2, with LibreOffice, Thunderbird, Firefox, SimpleScan, Shotwell, and VLC.
And get a 3rd party router.
