Apparently you have never called an Iranian "Arab". Iranians take it personally.

Iranian's don't like being called Arabs; A) They are Persians, B) They feel proud being associated with the Persian empire and the culture they inherited.

In fact, during my miss-fortunate discussion calling an Iranian an Arab, I felt the individual almost felt insulted.

I am not talking about the group on Slashdot, they are a little bit more enlightened than the common folks.

However, the same people who want to burn the Quran oppose mosque on ground zero, clearly this has nothing to do with freedom and American values and more to do with animosity towards Islam and Muslims. How come ground zero mosque is a no no as it hurts sentiments whereas sentiments of muslim a non-issue when it comes to burning of Quran!

"Time" is a by product of creation of our universe.

Keeping this in mind, there is no "need" for anyone creating god. Without universe there is no time (or at the very least time as we perceive), yet there is god (for those who believe in god, and I do). Question of creation only arises when asked in reference to "time".

    A) Iran is not as stupid as I hear in the media, however they keep their scary/crazy image.

A & B is the only way I see Israel sticking to UN resolution, stop their illegal settlements, stop their abuse and even the end of Hamas.

Israel is not going to comply to UN demands with slap on the wrist it gets. It needs a regional power willing to fight for the other side instead of sticks and stones vs multimillion dollar weaponry.

Having said that, I see balance of power between restored between Israel/Iran, however I can see Saudi's wanting nuke next, as the balance of power is severely lop sided there (except US may assure saudi's they are there for them.

Nonetheless, IMO its going to be for better.

Sure you could sell your shares, however the concept got turned head over heals when shares themselves became trading commodities, so unless prices of shares rise, they are not valued, it does not matter if company is making a fixed X amount of profit year over year.

Today, they are getting being accepted, in another 50 years I believe being gay should be accepted worldwide. Will they evolve out 200, say 500 years from now? i.e. assuming science doesn't catch up enough allowing two gay men to procreate, even then only wealthy could afford.

Continuing the thought, will med-care and insurance pay up for letting gay couple procreate. If yes, then its attempting to do something that is not intended by nature, what if I want wings to fly, should med-care pay for that too.
