As much as I love Psychonauts, after playing through Brutal Legend twice, I would pass up a Psychonauts sequel in favor of a BL2. The game got a lot of criticism for certain gameplay elements, but those didn't bother me (I thought the combat system was pretty cool), and the world just left me wanting more. Too bad so many people hated it.
Then, once the stomach cancer robots get rid of the crabs, we simply release wave after wave of Chinese needle snakes. They'll wipe out the cancer robots.
I would love to be able to use a DualShock/mouse hybrid control scheme for Skyrim. It might be a little awkward, but I was considering the Move Navigation controller for this (the one that's basically a reduced DualShock meant to be held in one hand). Not sure how well it would work out, but I really miss a mouse while trying to aim my bow/magic (but really only during those times).
There are peripherals (Eagle Eye, or something) that allow using your mouse/keyboard with PS3 games that don't normally support them, but I'm not sure how well it would work (especially since I want a hybrid), so I'm not willing to shell out $50 (plus whatever the navigation controller costs) to figure it out. But there are options out there for those who would want to do this.
As to why I don't just play on the PC in the first place, it's just personal preference. I recognize the PC is superior in some ways, but I prefer the PS3 for most of my gaming.
Often, in describing video game release dates for various regions, you will see JP, EU, US, AU, etc. In fact, for the very game this article discusses:
Yeah, that's why I described it as a decent list above. It's leaving out some games that at least some people will feel obviously belong there, but it also includes quite a few that are normally overlooked. Overall, it's not bad.
Yeah, that was one of the ones I didn't agree with. But anyone who's ever paid attention to the yearly character content polls at GameFAQs would have predicted it. Legend of Zelda or Mario will always win when they are an option.
According to Associated Press style, to "ensure" that something happens is to make certain that it does, and to "insure" is to issue an insurance policy. Other authorities, however, consider "ensure" and "insure" interchangeable. To please conservatives, make the distinction. However, it is worth noting that in older usage these spellings were not clearly distinguished.
I think you missed his point. As I read it, he's not talking about the radioactive material itself decaying, but the effects of the radiation on the other components of the bomb over time. I don't know enough about it to say either way, but I agree that after 1000 years the uranium/plutonium would likely be the least of your worries in terms of functionality.
I can try to find a link later when I'm not at work, but I got the collector's edition; it comes with Stone Prisoner only, not Warden's Keep. I think only the "digital deluxe" edition comes with both.
I posted on this topic above, but someone has lived for four years (at least) with a continuous flow VAD. Some additional information can also be found on this website:
The HeartMate II, a continuous flow device, has been approved for use in Europe and the US for sure, I think Asia and S. America, too. Apparently the longest patient so far is 4 years. If you know anyone sick enough to require one of these devices, that's pretty damn good. No indication as far as I can tell what happened to that patient (transplant, new pump, etc.).
It looks like two devices are being discussed. One is a (theoretical, as far as I can tell) continuous flow artifical heart. The other is a ventricular assist device, specifically the HeartMate II (http://www.thoratec.com/). A video on that website shows that this device does in fact have a moving, bladed rotor.
You are my new best friend.

Yeah, as much as I want to back up the Heinlein reference, I'm not sure it's that black and white.
So it's a cancer that removes cancer?
Yo, dawg...

Is it the hot one? I bet it's the hot one.

It may not be "officially" correct, but it's certainly not unheard of.

Nice to see Brutal Legend on there. Suprised to see E.T. nominated. :) And Secret of Monkey Island is there under "Additional Games," at least.
Aw, come on, give him a brake.
Good point about the flag. Hopefully Turkmenistan has no such plans.

What is that in Libraries of Congress?
I don't know about you, but when I hear the phrase "fatal flaw," I really expect something a little more, I don't know... hilarious.

Are you sure? :P
After all, the flute IS a heavy, metal instrument.
RTFA. Those are "counterfeit." Watterson had nothing to do with those.
Wait, a politician follows through on a campaign promise, and we're NOT supposed to be surprised?
In this case, I'm more disappointed than surprised, though.

Pretty sure you're referring to this:
