The only reason you are thinking that way is you were provided the option to come work here and desperately want to try and make a living in an industry that was built by people you are displacing. Do us all a favor and stay in your own country and make it better, build your dream life and make your country a place that will attract every techie wannabe in the world.

    And now a local US citizen is out of a job. Who will buy their product? The US citizen who is no longer able to afford it as they no longer have a job? Do you think for a minute that they will lower the price of the product because it was produced cheaper so the lesser paid EU folks can buy it?

    They are still wondering why they are talking to "David" (with a heavy foreign accent and broken English) for any computer related calls to Tech Support.

    There is one candidate who does not support the current H1B visa program as it is being used or its expansion of this abuse. He basically called out Disney to say Give Americans their Job Back (I like how the publisher got the article title wrong, but look where it is coming from).

    I have never believed it is "liberal" vs. "conservative" when relating to politics in the US. It is about control. But I would much rather have less constraints put on me by a SMALL government instead of a huge one that will double our debt in a four year period, that doesn't bring back jobs to this country and making us rely upon them more and more every year.

    Hmm, "solid scientific conclusions", you mean the data the has been subpoenaed by the House and they (NOAA) are refusing due to confidentiality? This is the exact reverse of your argument that Conservatives assume all people are stupid. The correct answer would be "here is the data that we came to our conclusion". This would allow for the verification of the data from other scientific sources.

    Creationism, hmm, I never blindly accept any ideology that can not be proven scientifically. To me that is just another unknown at this point that need further investigation.

    The only winning move is not to play.

    I have been on the "no/bad" credit side for the past 3 yrs. I am trying to get it down all the way to the minimum score, because I do not believe that a score of zero is obtainable until you are dead.
    Sold my house, paid of car, no credit cards, only checking/savings/401K's .
    You know I don't miss buying something until I have the cash to do so.
    I do not want their credit, keep it, I can live without it and especially I do not want to follow the same pattern as the current government and double my debt in a four year period.

    Agreed, since most countries have laws and regulations concerning privacy on DNA, this is basically giving a private entity the go ahead to collect the data.
    However well intended the scientific data would be to researchers, there will always be some other entity whether a company or government agency that will try to take advantage of the same information.
    *Tin foil hat donned* This almost sounds like a means to say "Since we can't legally force you to provide DNA, we are just asking you to volunteer it"

    In my opinion the idea behind encryption is to provide us with the privacy that is needed in an environment that is open as the internet of today.
    In order for expediency, would it not be easier to repeal the Fourth Amendment and get rid of the right which our ancestors fought for to protect us from warrant-less search and seizure. Shall we re-institute the "writ of assistance" and allow the controlling party to do anything they want just to see if they can find a violation of a law?
    FBI, NSA, CIA, etc...., this is what you are asking "we thee people" for every time you ask for weak standards, back doors, and outright ban on encryption use.

    You should not be finding DDT in any product produced in the US. This has been banned since 1972 for any agricultural products. Also I can not believe that all the listed ingredients are in a single cigarette.

    This has always been a question that I always posed to other Engineers.
    Me: Why would you do that?
    Engineer: Because I can.
    Me: WHAT!!!!
    This is to show you how some Engineers think.
    Myself being one, I always approach the same question with a little added step. Ask yourself "Okay, this is possible but SHOULD I ?". Most folks know this as using common sense (which I have met quite a few excellent Engineers who have none of this trait).
    Just because you can do something does not necessarily that you should do something.
