I do not think arresting the opposition and charge them with racketeering would be a valid scientific approach. In other words discount or prove the data, do not make it illegal. Just be careful, in the event that this is a cry about a wolf, that the wolf actually exists or that same law could now be turned on the accuser.

This is exactly what I did with Amazon. After the second time of "not making the cut". I had to repeatedly tell the recruiters to stop contacting me. This took about 4 VERY blunt email responses to the inquiring recruiters. From my experience with this the nastier the response, the quicker they stop pestering you.

Well this is my anti-anti-AMD shill . Of the 2 NVidia cards I have had, both incinerated themselves while ALL my AMD/ATI cards were in perfect health when I upgraded. If I had to choice between an AMD/ATI GPU and a NVidia, I will always choose AMD/ATI. I would rather have a GPU that will still function after a month and not self destruct as my previous NVidia cards did.

Besides I never read either TH or KG reviews anyway (or I at least take their assessment with a grain of salt). The same thing happens with movies. Many a movie critics denounce a particular movie upon release and it flops at the box office. Later on it becomes a sleeper sensation once on DVD and it surpasses sales of their "recommend to see" films. As long as the person is happy with the product that they paid for all is good, isn't it?

    Thus ends my anti-anti-AMD shill.

  12. Re:Deleting videos on US Prosecutors Say Clearing Browser Data Can Be Obstruction of Justice · · Score: 5, Interesting

An acquaintance of mine also ran into something similar with the local law enforcement where I live. They threw him in jail for 24 hrs for "speeding and reckless driving" in the police station parking lot (which has surveillance) because he did not wait another two hours to file a complaint against a neighbor (police crony) for harassing his son. An officer stated that he witnessed the whole thing. They stormed his house with 4 officers 4 hours after the incident, through him up against the wall in front of his terrified daughter to arrest him. Come trial, the police video was "lost" or "deleted". Luckily, the much more tech savvy fire department next door had their surveillance video and graciously provided their video footage exonerating said person.

They do not "lose" them. They intentionally delete them to leave no trail which can be used against them in trial or congressional oversight committee.

Always remember, the prosecution is a human as well as the defense attorney and both will bend the truth to their liking in order to show that something/nothing wrong was done.

BTW, the attorney for the acquaintance humiliated the police department in trial who then had to issue a formal apology.

As for Security+ certification, I have turned down many a contracts as an application developer with the DoD because the job description called for one where it had no relevance to the actual position. Just a check box on the job posting.

So the question you have to answer I think would be "Will the certification help or hinder your endeavor?". My opinion is that for a programmer, no (unless the application being developed is a network security application or a sysadmin tool(s) specifically meant to administer security).

That would put a heavy dent in the income of the organizations that manage the prison systems (which are mostly cronies of the politicians). And once the dent is made in their profits, they would lobby to elevate the penalty of some other illegal act to put the profits back into their pockets, say jaywalking or driving while texting is a now mandatory 90 days in prison.

In the event that a person goes from a full time employment to a consulting type employment are you saying you would not want this type of person to re-enter the full time employment category?
