Was too good to refuse. Took a couple of years time out, travelled, cleared up any and all debts, spent actual quality time with the kids, studied..Best time I ever spent, and was fortunate to have the funds behind me to do it.
One of the reasons given was to save costs. None of those savings seems to have filtered down. I am shocked and dismayed that this has not happened. Shocked I say!
I have a Sony Xperia Z3, and it has a water resistant rating (that I can't remember offhand) with an open jack - no flappy door on it. The USB port does have a little flappy door, but there's also an external magnetic charging connector on the side - so the only time it gets opened is the rare occasion I HAVE to connect it via USB, or if I borrow a charger from someone
This is probably going to be back-pedalled faster than Tony Abbott running from gays on a boat.
I like your style.
The whole thing stinks like lawyers fishing for business. Had they just left it alone, without the lawyering and heavy handed threats, it would have faded away and been forgotten in short order. The thread would have been buried away amongst the other bazillion now inactive threads. Doing this ensures that they generate huge amounts of negative, national publicity and probably some kind of backlash, and be ever associated with "Oh that WCS mob, you know, the ones that try and sue people to keep them silent".
Whirlpool is incredibly popular, and has a very loyal user base - the offers of money for a legal fund are starting to roll in! I saw nothing in the thread that is defamatory, the OP asked for advice, was told 'do your homework' (entirely sensible), OP came back and said 'I found a better deal, thanks'. Nobody came out and said "this company is shit!"
I very much doubt they have a leg to stand on, and all they have done is ensure that a future Google search will bring this little act of douchery up and forever associate their name with it. Good Job!
I have an AGV helmet rolling around in a cupboard somewhere, it has a 'clippy' type strap - metal tongue clips into the other part, kind of like a seatbelt, but there are two release buttons - one on each side that need to be pressed. This is the only helmet I have ever seen that has this setup (although, obviously my experience is limited to my own and friends helmets!)
My last 3 have been Shoeis, and all have had the double D rings.
I agree with you and the GP as well - this stuff already exists, in pieces, and people try to use it as it is today - BT headset for intercom/phone, phone/GPS attached to the tank or in the top pocket of a tank bag, so on the face of it, integrating everything and making it easily accessible on a bike is not a bad idea. However, I'm not sure this is the way to do it. It may work better in a car, where you have the luxury of a steel shell and more space, inside a helmet..not so much
I haven't touched VMS in...well literally, years. Last time I used it was on a VAX 11/780, and MicroVAX(en) II's I think? Wasted many an hour on 'phone' instead of doing assignments. When not at a local terminal, I used terminal mode on a DEC Rainbow 100 (manually-dialled 2400 baud modem) Talk about keep it in the family..

âoeI donâ(TM)t need them to speak, they donâ(TM)t even need to speak.â
Direct quote from a female Australian senator. On the radio.
Now reverse that - a male saying something about rich and big-busted, and their career would be finished.
Sexism is alive and well, but it's not just men.
How? I'm an Aussie, and this is no great unexpected revelation. Pine Gap is a joint Aus/US operated facility, and I'm pretty sure that nobody really thought that it was just a nice place meeeting place for American and Australians to swap recipes.
It's probably actually desirable - since streaming media is not accessible (IE YouTube and the like), the TV tuner is a sort of way of having government controlled media delivered. True it isn't on demand, and you can't pick what you like when you like, but it's probably the next best thing and can be tightly controlled
I think you're buying our (Australia) used FA/18's too.
Google's own public DNS servers work just fine :)
Australia too at the ISP level, so trivial to work around

We here (Victoria, Australia) did just that maybe 2-3 years ago. No more stickers on passenger vehicles, although I think trucks still require them.
I voted early. I was asked if I had a reason for voting early, and my response was "Yes". That was a satisfactory answer.
Back of the Vic-20 and C64 Programmer's Reference Guide! Big fold out ones.

I thought that was the KFC drive through?

Damn. Forgot the character thing. The point still stands if you can interpret it.

Or unless your company has paid out the extra cash to Microsoft for extended support..
Unlicensed business...soooo I'm taking a guess that any insurance he may have had, will be well and truly null and void..
Absolutely - I had 2 fail from 2 purchased in under 12 months.
Well that would make her, what, 11 when she had sex? Maybe they should be investigating the father for possible jail time?

Nobody is too boring, citizen. Go about your life now.
Maybe they could compensate all the stockholders with a free Surface RT? I hear there's a few spares around..
Don't forget the State run knockoff Disney channel! Hooray for Comrade Mouse demonstrating glorious leadership in exceeding production quotas!
