I am not saying business people would buy it, but when the item in question has more functionality related to business or non-game related software...then it ceases to become a gaming machine and more of a computer, and most handheld computers are called PDA's.
Just because an IPaq can't do these things doesn't mean the PSP not a PDA. It's just the PSP is a powerful PDA that just happens to play games.
I take that back, the PSP is not a PDA, it's just an emulator for the SNES that happens to have PDA functionality. There are so few games for the PSP it's not even funny...and given the sales data from http://www.gamesarefun.com/news.php?newsid=6110... it's not doing too well against two of the same machine. (In Japan)
Give it up, Nintendo is like apple. It may not have a lion's share, but it will remain. Besides, Sony and Microsoft have NOTHING on the handheld market (PSP doesn't count as it's not a game system, it's a PDA). That and Nintendo has a very hardcore following. Myself included.
"IGN managed to get their hands on a Revolution Developer's Kit, and have put up a tantalizing hands-on impressions article."
no...they go their hands on a Controller Kit, not a Developer's Kit. This kit was basically just to let developers know what kind of controller they'd be using when developing for the Revolution. That way they can start brainstorming now about possible titles that can utilize the controller while working with hardware they're already familiar with...
Sure, but that is simply them emulating their own property. It's not something you could just download off the internet. Although you will download the roms that way, it's still entirely protected by their systems.
My point was emulating such as RockNES,Nester and other such emulators.
...how licensing issues can get in the way of games that are so old and out of date (although nostalgic). I for one enjoy emulation and will continue to enjoy it. with or without legal roms. some CEO's need to get their head out of their arses and realize the market they have.
Speaking of the 600lbs gorilla, Nintendo would never even get to the point of releasing roms as they feel Emulation is illegal.
...The Dragon Quest games for the game cube, or revolution. My favorite series of all time, yet i refuse to buy a playstation for two games...i also happen to like zelda & mario so that's why i stick with nintendo
...every single item mentioned in the article that applied to GPS Navigation systems could be applied to conventional maps, at least with a GPS Navigation system it could talk to you without you having to look at it (Tom Tom http://www.tomtom.com/ for instance). Then it would take your eyes away from it and on the road where it belongs.
I suppose that the scaling of the "Unipages" wouldn't work as well as PDF.
Couple that with the fact that not all html looks the same on all browsers.
If Unipage could convert the html to PDF that would be perfect, A nice easy to create PDF generator. But we would lose the javascript and flash functionality. I wouldn't want that in a static document anyway.
I should have said 800x-1000x the profit instead of % thank you...
so if i have a stuffed animal and it costs me 20 cents (they are sometimes that cheap) to buy and i sell it for 10 bucks that's 50x the profit but a 98% profit
but if i have a video game that costs me 45.00 to buy and i sell it for 50 bucks that's 1.111...x the profit but a 10% profit, which is about standard
i am of course exaggerating in my initial case, but my point still stands...
I think part of the problem is that whenever I go into Fry's Electronics (i used to work there), there are 100's of games on the shelf. It's hard to weed out the ones that might be interesting to you.
Also, most of the video games come in fairly large packaging with just a CD. Even the manuals are now in PDF format on the CD. Give me a break. I wanna hold it in my hand and read it.
Third. Most games only make like 50 cents to a couple bucks profit per game, when stuff like stuffed animals (fry's electronics sells them in the same area) make probably 800%-1000% profit. Not much incentive to give shelf space to a product that doesn't make you that much money in the first place.
Part of the problem with returning Movies to a retailer is that 90% of the retailers will not accept open movies for return. No, it's not all because of piracy. The idea is that most people have 30 days to return product. So that means you can rent movies for free just by returning them. Usually if they do accept the return, you'll just get the same thing back anyway.
So you're plan has been foiled already...why not just boycott movies in general, it's not like the stuff in the theater currently is any good. Those will be the ones that are on BlueRay. Everything I want to watch is currently on DVD...
...are not the property of craigslist, it has far too many listings per day to constantly check each and every post to make sure it follows all applicable laws for each state it is accessible in.
It's essentially a clearing house and as such it is protected against such lawsuits anyway.
The article stated that it would be similar cost to a DVD which means in general 20 bucks US. That's not incentive enough for me to sign up. If they offered an incentive such as if you upload 20 movies you get 1 movie free or something, maybe...
...just not be there. As with any corporation it's all about money. It's what you do with that money that makes a difference.
Of course, all that money that comes from China goes to an American company which keeps American's working. I suppose you might not care about that, but I sure do. Besides, if everyone is so against China, then stop buying electronics, stop going to walmart...only buy American. Most products are not made in America anymore and most people don't care, they get their cheap crappy stuff.
the external tool would have no effect as it is the bios that has been altered. your software would have to run through said bios with no real chance to detect if it has been altered. for example, say you checked the size of the bios or a hash check, the rootkit would see what you're doing and report the size and hash you would expect.
as for the little switch to make the bios readonly...it should be a standard feature of motherboards.
There is an option for strict safe search, which yeilds very few results with actual female nipples. there are a few male nipples and a couple paintings. The weirdest however is the kittens that get returned.
You're insane if you think the installed base of the PS2 is 100 million users. I'd divide that number at least in half when you take replacement units into account from the system crapping out. It doesn't make any real difference, but it helps illustrate that the actual numbers of unique owners for each console isn't as earth shatteringly disparate as Sony would have you believe.
Weird...I did a search and had no problem, both from google.com and google.co.uk...

The above link was out for quite a while. Not exactly sure how accurate it is. But it seems pretty close.
But communism will

sounds an awful lot like "Thank You Luigi"
i seriously doubt that an episode with that kind of language would make it past the censors

First off, Nintendo will never be bought, they'd leave the marketplace before that. Second, Cisco?
