To translate: This is vaporware, it may never be released in our lifetime, it may never actually work, and I have no fricken clue as to what it will actually cost. Next year's model has five 10 pound weights attached to the device. A user just has to lift the weights, and as they fall, they power the chip for 4 hours!!! When they reach the bottom, just move them back to the top!

If all the Terrans you're going to have are in the first command center and just get "trained" by the barracks, how come you can hit the psi limit even after getting a hundred marines killed? It's not a psi limit for the terrans - it is a supply limit. You only have enough supplies for a given number of marines.

There is an umbrella that allows you to "watch slide-shows". It has a built-in camera, and allows you to transfer pictures to flickr. It's also got a GPS and a compass. I don't quite think it is as practical as a hands-free umbrella, but maybe if you combined the two, you'd have something.

  19. Re:Bad deal on Why Google Wanted a YouTube Lawsuit · · Score: 2, Informative

What would be interesting is if the courts declare that any ad money made from infringing videos has to be collected and given to the owner.

YouTube doesn't put any ads on the pages where clips are played. Take a look. They only put ads on the search pages, home page, etc. The reason for this is that if they had ads on clip pages, they could potentially lose the protection of the Safe Harbors under the DMCA. YouTube has been very careful to give itself a legal ground to stand on if they ever went to court.

This article explains it much better than I can -- and it is well written. =)

One game I have to recommend for the Wii is Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam. It hasn't received a lot of press, but the game is absolutely fun to play on the Wii. You hold the Wii Remote so that the arrows are on your left hand, and the 1 and 2 button are at your right hand. Then, you turn your skater by angling the wiimote. It is extremely intuitive. I have Zelda as well, and I find myself playing Tony Hawk a lot more often.
