No I don't currently have a Kindle, though I plan to get one once I finish reading several of the physical books I need to read. But my main point is that $25 off from $140 is chump change to me and doesn't justify going for the ad supported version even if its not that obtrusive. So a significantly lower price would be needed for me to consider that, otherwise I'd rather just go ahead and pay the $140 once I'm ready to get one.
*whoosh* that comparison went completely over your head.
Marathon is to Doom as Goldeneye is to Halo, thats not the same as saying Marathon is to Halo as Wolfenstein is to Doom.
FMV scenes generally only playback at 23 to 25 FPS because they are pre-rendered. In SC2 they are being rendered by the GPU as they are not pre-rendered FMV and so generally need in excess of 30 FPS constantly to not look stuttery, which is about the same thing you'd get from playing something like Gears of War or Crysis or really any recent good looking 3D game.
Not sure what game you played, but Mechwarrior 2 was the first battletech game where you had as full customization as you did in the board game, right down to placing each "critical" slot for each weapon and ammo installed.
Of course mechwarrior 2 for playstation 1 didn't have this ability if I remember correctly, so the PC version may have had the advantage of full customization.
Microsoft already shut down the Zone match servers a few years ago, so currently they are paying nothing for upkeep. Mektek has is own matchmaking service set up and maintains the servers themselves I think.
There certainly were plenty of things in MW4 that made it a lesser sequel to MW2... however I have to say the weapon customization based on hardpoints was actually a really good idea. I always thought it was strange that in previous mechwarrior games you could put every weapon on just your legs and torsos and get away with it. Now I know classic battletech let you do that too, but you also had random hit tables too so it didn't matter as much.
it would likely tie the multiplayer capability to your login, not your hardware... but its still pretty lame. I don't mind them giving people who buy new copies a bunch of cool goodies, but stripping away such core functionality is kinda wrong and may lead to more piracy.
Oh and don't forget to tell him to repeatedly make the sound that comes after "doe ray me" when he meets this Michael person. Assure him its an "inside joke" he'll get when he hears it.
xbox marketplace is worthless for movie selection and retention anyway, you're better off with netflix or just going to a brick and mortar blockbuster or something
look on the brightside, it hopefully means they'll stick mostly to cutting down their forest fields and not so much the actual forests filled with wildlife.
I currently have a Palm Centro with AT&T and decided not to pay for the "unlimited" data plan which is about $30 per month I believe.
However, I have on a couple occasions needed to use it to look up directions on google maps while in my parked car. A few minutes usage, and no more than about 1/2 a MB later I find a $5 charge added. Thats $10 per MB... RIP-OFF! If they did something like $10 per GB I'd be perfectly fine with that, since I wouldn't use the thing for video and music anyway, but to be able to occasionally check email or reviews on products before I purchase them that would be a reasonable amount.
Yes I too would prefer to blame Windows 8 for making such a terrible movie. And John Cusack? Seriously, is that the best they could get? End of the world indeed!

yeah $25 off is clearly not enough, it needs to be no more than half the price to make it worth actually considering the ad supported version
4. Don't be evil and you won't have anything that could be used against you
but then if _everybody_ knew martial arts, including the attacker, the benefit to the victim is completely lost

Not for typing or programming have I ever needed to use the Capslock key. Its just as useless as the recently deceased Scroll Lock key.

funny, I decoded it and it came out "Ph4rma increase your p33nas size today for less $$$$"
I laughed too... I think it was the guy's minor speech impediment but otherwise the song and lyrics are kinda catchy really

Legos my egos. Leggo my eggo. Let go of my eggo waffle. Biznatch.
Quake, Descent and Duke Nukem 3D are the first games I remember with today's mouse-look keyboard-move settings.
ah, but what about a LAN war? Thats good to go right?

I dunno, sub could still work... I mean it worked for Jared eatin all those sammiches!
Have you tried playing Uncharted 2 on your Samsung BD player yet? I tell you its so realistic, you can even unplug your TV and it looks just as good!
