No but this time the congress already had made the mistake on monday and on wednesday and friday shooting themselves on the foot! and actually what it appears is that everybody's doing the same thing! everybody, i mean ahhhh!
The other concern I have is about how to manage this between kids and parents. It's one thing to have a fixed up-front payment to buy a game but to have kids (teens) linking credit cards (or even pre-paying) to a game seems like it might not go over well with the parents...
You know you can buy the Nexon-cash-card
herewith cash. or at other retail locations. i even saw one at speedway. I don't think it is that hard for a kid to buy that $10 cash card. kids buy dozens of brand new games priced at $60 or above.
Guess what, my mp3 gets recharged 80% in 30minutes. This is sufficient for me. And one full charge lasts 50 hours on my mp3 player. i listen to the music on my mp3 very often and quick recharging really comes in handy. i no longer need to buy dozens of batteries each time i go to the walmart. but i wouldn't see this helping that much when it comes to power hungry laptops. my 4 year old laptop lasts less than 50mins without power. i don't think i wanna move around charging for 3minutes and work for other 40 mins. Raw battery time is more important than how quick it charges when it comes to case like my laptop. if my laptop lasts good 2hours than quick recharge time would worth having so. This would be a good application for electric cars also. quick visit to the station or nearby outlet for couple of minutes every 100 mile wouldn't be too much of hassle.
Before i switched to ppc-mac/xbox 360 few years ago, i owned a self-built PC with cheapest functional hardware. what i did was getting a used parts from ebay. i got new graphics card for $30 in order to play WOW because the old one couldn't render 3D graphics so WOW looked like a mozaic slush. I was never fond of spending too much money on gaming so i looked for alternative; XBOX 360. Cheap. no upgrade required. no installation. being a busy university student and having number of part time jobs going on , i barely find time to play games and money to buy new titles. Yet, this has made me to be the best player around me because i play one title for long time. so, even if i suck at most of the games, i have name among my friends. being a fan of game doesn't mean that you need latest $4000ailienware pc. and i have tone of things to make up for and brand new pc comes least priority on my list. in fact, i didn't have that in my list.
I thought it was literally for external usb port, thought of my usb dongle mp3. I would buy one in a heartbit if they make external one for laptops as well. I've been saving up to buy macbook pro 15inch or maybe 17inch. I don't need as much horsepower as brand new ones have. i would just get 17 inch Acer or dell laptop for $500 refurbished. and plug one of those dongle and boom! wouldn't that make the day? \nerdgasm>
Being a Christian doesn't mean that i suddenly witness the creation of the universe. Also being an college student taking some science classes doesn't mean that i suddenly know how molecules really stick together. I am not afraid to question the most uncomfortable questions out there. In fact, i always had pastors as good friends whom i asked many many would-be-uncomfortable questions if i were someone else. In fact, being a pastor at the church doesn't mean that he knows the answers straight from God. NOBODY DOES. Finding out about how universe was created won't change my belief toward God. This is not about what i see. My understanding about Christianity as my religion is that it is all about God(jesus) being well, God and it is all about my sin and my eternal afterlife. so that my focus is not how and why things happened, i rather accept scripture as is. To question how and why is not a sin. This is my curious nature to ask so. And in fact, i am encouraged to do so in the Bible. I always question myself, 'what if all this is wrong and what if i am totally wrong?'. That's what 'being reborn again' is about. This is one of the reason why i don't like too conservative people while being conservative also. I hope people understand better about Christianity and at least avoid blatant bias. (not that the parent did wrong) Being a baptist, i distinguish Christianity and catholic. not doing so, will be offensive to baptists.
Completely agree. I will never pay $600 or above for an $80 Gig hard drive. I will absolutely get one if it falls under $100 dollars for the SDD disk alone. I am completely happy with 30GB on my ibook and 40GB on my external 2.5 hard disk. I download everything from web and erase the files or upload them back online almost as soon as i am done using them: such as movies, pictures, documents, music files, etc. I have acceptable internet speed at home: i get about 300KB/sec when i use web browsing/itunes/torrent. that means that i can download regular movies in about less than 3 hours for popular movies and less than 15mins for an album. i am college student and work on a lot of web/software programming. but do not see the point of having large drive. quick access is biggest attraction of SSD. Finder/editors on my 4 yr old mac freezes while hard drive catches up with my demand time to time. but not to the point that i rip my ibook open and shove in new SSD right away. when i use my computer i focus on using only the software i need to use: i don't turn on VLC or itunes to listen to the music or radio when i am working on my computer. instead i use my portable mp3 player. that way i maximize my laptop's battery run time also desktop space, power resource. sure the benefit or having fast and spacious drive/computer is nice. but it doesn't worth $500 or more right now. same goes for other things as well. i play games on xbox so that i don't have to get new pc in order to play newest games.
Even if the technology is not perfect enough yet, google is one friggin rich company who can afford to hire farm of people who checks on images they have taken. if the image has not been confirmed yet, don't post it! Youtube do it. Have you watched any porn lately at youtube? how many videos are there. that is what i meant by using HR-human resources with the help of softwares
What about using recognition software that automatically pixelizes human and possibly put symbols or replacement image instead of privacy sensitive place such as love hotels? This is not the matter of culture people. if this matters in Japan it freaking matters here in the States people. i believe that google has such technology and HR to do so. I hope that people are not saying this "You Yankees have no idea how the Japanese live. we like sushi but you don't eat sushi. so don't do that." that kind of appeal won't work. people should let google know that this invasion of privacy is 'not acceptable not only in Japan, it is not in the U.S, Europe and everywhere else.' So what is higuchi going to do? is it gonna make any change by ranting on his blog? i believe that he has inexperienced abroad, not to mention the States. As an non-US national residing in the States we have the very same problem here and in other countries as well, at least the country where i came from. I don't know how to change neither because i don't think anything will stop google unless the Japanese govn't steps in and tell them to Fuck off the site. lawsuit? ha! you know how many people use the streetview and how much revenue it is generating? and what percentage of people in Japan who know about this site serously care of privacy when theirs are not invaded? those who are japanese and has their privacy invaded and don't like about it, they are just fucked up. I see this kind of article coming out of Japan and in other countries in general. I came from Korea so i know well about this kind of rants. These kind of hate-n-blame rants make to the top headlines of web portals and even major news papers each day. So i am more annoyed by these people who rant online like this. did he ever think about his own problems in his life? doees he even have right to say "google has crossed the line?" I feel the way that this issue is not correctly understood by Higuchi. i was reading through Higuchi's article and i was thinking "so this is Japan's problem not us". I am gearing more towards accepting google's practice yet this should be dealt formerly with support of government. this is just act of art of journalism. what is this going to do? think about it.

I don't need to speed too much when going downward. but i could use some help of machine when i just lack few grams of taurine.
I don't know how it works exactly, but it's massive, incredibly complicated and absolutely stunning. Something of a beacon to children becoming interested in science, I'm sure.
Pardon me if this get a bit offtopic. If this thing works, and If there are possible ways to reduce the size& efficiency &output of this, can i hope to see a tabletop version of this such as a early 20th century's development of nuclear reactor to tabletop nuclear reactor today and possibly a tabletop version of this in 50 yrs? perhaps will same happen for TOKAMAK? When i first looked at LHC, i thought a lot about Fusion reactors. Now i have zero patience to see these coming true!

When in operation, about seven thousand scientists from eighty countries will have access to the LHC. Physicists hope to use the collider to test various grand unified theories and enhance their ability to answer the following questions:
* Is the popular Higgs mechanism for generating elementary particle masses in the Standard Model realised in nature? If so, how many Higgs bosons are there, and what are their masses?[10]
* Will the more precise measurements of the masses of the quarks continue to be mutually consistent within the Standard Model?
* Do particles have supersymmetric ("SUSY") partners?[1]
* Why are there apparent violations of the symmetry between matter and antimatter?[1] See also CP-violation.
* Are there extra dimensions indicated by theoretical gravitons, as predicted by various models inspired by string theory, and can we "see" them?
* What is the nature of dark matter and dark energy?[1]
* Why is gravity so many orders of magnitude weaker than the other three fundamental forces?

It's a neat idea, but only if it's absolutely perfect. And is -anything- perfect?
Sure, it may not be perfect. But neither are people and the condition of the road and weather.
Two modes are investigated: in the 'map generation' mode, the lane detection system is used to generate a map under good weather, lighting, and traffic conditions; in the 'map use' mode, it is used as a driving assistance system and can rely on the previously generated map to improve the results of detection. The lane detection system is used along with a low cost GPS in both modes. Experimental results show that using the map can improve the detection of the road lane under adverse conditions (occlusions generated by traffic, degraded lane markings, bad weather like fog). Moreover the use of the map can help avoiding false detections and increasing the detection range of the system
That is how the government runs. In my town, i notice that the city is redoing the road about every week. Gotta fix the cable? break open the road and lay it again. Water pipe. rinse and repeat. electrical cords? road condition? the weather? balance of ying and yang of that road?
