    If you're using select/poll you've got even more context switching overhead than with blocking sockets.

    With NPTL 1 thread per client is actually faster than select/poll.

    MAC based geolocation of wireless routers is far more accurate than geolocation using ip alone.

    But is access to other data on the SD card limited? I have no clue. As far as I can tell, once an app has access the SD card, a full wipe is possible. There is little information to suggest otherwise.

    Access is limited each app runs as it's own user.

    It is fully automatic and it's not that much of a slow down. The reduced IO might actual provide a performance boost.
