Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
This bodes some strange eruption to our state.
Contagious blastments are most imminent.
Who is't that can inform me? (of how low England has sunk)
And then it started like a guilty thing (soon Top Gear will be blocked)
O villain, villain, smiling, damned villain!
These tedious old fools!
Microsoft is determined to wreck Windows 8
I have nearly 100 programs in my start menu. I like them as a text list and not as a very long horizontal list of garish colored squares and not being able to close the programs once opened. They must have found out that people do not want tiles and would switch to the desktop so Steve Ballmer ordered the change just because he could.
Get a chair that vibrates.
It will cost you a quarter an hour but think of the all the money you will save for retirement.
Make sure your chair have arm rests that are adjustable and has a seat cushion that breathes and does not get hot. Adjust the height of the chair so your feet flatly touch the floor. Also make sure that underneath your knees they do not contact the chair edge (cutting off circulation). The table height should be low enough so your arm is flat on the table. If your arm / shoulder is raised up all the time you will feel it with your shoulder aching all the time.
Stop gripping that mouse. Find one the right size. I remember my Packard Bell mouse from the mid 90's that was shaped like a mouse. It caused problems with my hand as it was too high in the middle and wide on the sides and narrow where the buttons were. Google search: http://www.flickr.com/photos/eyekungfu/2982910813/
The partial answer to the 2 questions are:
1..calculate exactly the path of a projectile under gravity and subject to air resistance
Partial answer: What goes up eventually comes down.
2..dealing with the collision of a body with a wall
Partial answer: Insurance company
These people are being fired because of the decision of 1 man, the former ceo of HP who decided to cancel the HP tablet and stop building computers and cost the company more then $1.2 billion. Luckily he was himself fired before everyone at HP lost their jobs.
He went away with many millions of dollars. These 30,000 people are paying for his bad decisions.
20% are goof-offs? Kinda high. Small companies cannot afford that, maybe a very large company or gov't can.
My company has been laying off many people who know their stuff yet there are some who are slackers who somehow manage to stay on who are friends with hire-ups. They are also skilled at knifing their co-workers in the back.
I knew of a person who arrived late nearly everyday, 20mins or more or was absent many times but was friends with the supervisor who had hired them as they once worked together. They keep their job by putting on an act that anything they are asked to do is an imposition and they are doing you a favor etc. They also bad mouth people. This person was transferred out of the dept to another where they managed to get promoted by a newly hired manager.
I expect the Peter Principal to take effect with them but in the meantime they will do damage.

The movies that we see nowadays are already written by computer.
Insert background story> search for common themes
Insert characters> search stereotypes
Insert dialog> search dependent on type of movie. Romance, Action etc.
Insert product placement> search on who pays the most
Some companies take screenshots of what is on your computer all day long. Now they want to peer into your email as if it were an inkblot and predict your behavior.
It is best to work elsewhere as that company employs paranoid people who somehow got into the position to spy on people and convince management that is a good thing instead of just seeing if the assignments are completed each day. These are the same companies that put 4 levels between you and getting a quick answer. Procedures are to be followed! Tell the customer you will get back to them in a day or two instead of a minute or two.
You will go farther elsewhere. If you stay you risk being slandered by these paranoid people.
I use Norton Ghost to automatically backup the entire drive to 1 internal drive and 1 external drive. If I were smart I would backup to a 3rd drive and store it offsite. The photos and some video take up the most storage. Email and Word docs and the webpages I create hardly take up space. Uploading to a site would be quick.
UBitMenu for Office 2007 and 2010 is a toolbar that stays in place and shows the toolbar that you use to have in Office 2003.
I use it for manly for Word. I no longer have to fight that blasted ribbon.

When I worked at Earthlink starting late 90's, they had screen capture software that took a snapshot every 30 secs. Slowed the pc down back then plus they did not filter the emails so they captured a lot of xxx pictures in Outlook. They also had a Q&A team that purposely called you to try to tick you off. It was suppose to help you when a real angry customer called in which was most of the time.....
The company I work at now logs what websites you look at but does not have screen capture software. I use my personal laptop tethered to my cellphone when I want to browse the internet. I have a couple of co-worker's who look at youtube videos and at sport sites. Company seems ok with it as long as you get your work done.
If you get a laptop then get a docking station too so if she does not like the small screen of the laptop or the keyboard, she can dock the laptop and plug in a big monitor and a regular keyboard. She can always undock the laptop to go anywhere with it. Buy a quality pc. Lots of junk out there. I put together a desktop pc using a Gigabyte X58 motherboard and a Intel I7 quad core cpu with 6gb of ram. It was overkill. Look at an expensive model then take note of the specs then look at a cheap pc and do the same. Compare costs and features. Google the brand or parts and see other comments about them. Windows 7 vs Mac OS? I always thought Mac looked better but since I do not use them I cannot say which is better. The market shows 10% for Apple and nearly 90% for Windows so that says something.
Windows 7 is half baked. Boy is it disorganized. It is XP and Vista thrown up in the air then picked up and rebranded. Microsoft needs to hire people who have a design flair plus those that actually read the complaints about previous versions of Windows and will work to fix the problems.
Something as simple as changing the highlight color of a menu is not possible in Windows 7 with using a program like Resource Hacker and good luck finding the image. Example: right click on your desktop. Cannot change that nearly invisible highlight to what you want using the aero interface.
Here are some programs I have found to make it easier to use Windows 7:
Use Xyplorer http://www.xyplorer.com/ This is a file manager. Windows 7 folders are a mess. Xyplorer can be customized. See website. Try for 30 days. Costs $42 afterward. Worth it.
You can easily increase the size of the text and the spacing by using your mouse scroll wheel or ctrl + shift. See the screenshots at the site. Makes reading the text so much easier.
For search use "Everything" http://voidtools.com/ or "Locate32" http://www.locate32.net/ Instantly find anything you are looking for. Windows 7 search just won't. They are FREE.
Change the Start menu use "ClassicShell" - FREE
http://classicshell.sourceforge.net/index.html
Use "Ultimate Windows Tweaker" to fix some of the problems. FREE.
http://www.thewindowsclub.com/ultimate-windows-tweaker-v2-a-tweak-ui-for-windows-7-vista
Use "Iconoid" - FREE
http://www.sillysot.com/ to remember your icon positions. There are 32bit and 64bit versions. In Windows 7 if you hold down the Ctrl button then use your mouse scroll wheel you can increase the size of the icons and text. That is a nice feature but.....When you resize them the icons go all over the place and will not return to their original positions when you revert back to a smaller size. With Iconoid installed you just right click on the desktop and click on Manage Desktop Icons and restore the positions.
Windows Vista-7 Taskbar Color Changer - FREE.

AveHTMLPreview - Windows Explorer no longer shows thumbnails of HTML files. This functionality has simply been removed. This addon for Explorer will show thumbnails for HTML, MHTL and URL files. FREE.

Use MiniTool Partition Home Edition http://www.partitionwizard.com/partition-wizard-bootable-cd.html to partition your large hard drive without losing any files
I myself am looking to get hired at Initech. I hear you can arrive late everyday and be promoted to management level after doing maybe 10-15 minutes of real work during a week.
LBJ's widow owns a large share of Halliburton, it was one reason he married her, she was rich
George Soros owns 62 million dollars of stock in the company, far more then Dick Cheney ever did. His name repeatedly comes up with Halliburton as if he were a crook yet no mention of THE biggest shareholders of the company
Al Gore is running the same scam as the UN with their oil for food scandal
Al has a carbon credit scandal going on
Tax writeoffs, phony investments

The sun's energy output varies, it is in an orbit that wobbles, goes thru dust clouds over the eons.
Earth's orbit too wobbles and as we all know the temps change thruout he year and always has. The moon was much closer to the earth at one point that our day was just 18hrs and the moon did one orbit in 20 days. It has been moving away since. Earth's land masses moving around opened to let the seas we know today be created funneling the warm and cold water around the earth that affects temps.
Volcanos exploding putting out all types of gasses. 1991's eruption of Mount Pinatubo lowered temperatures by about 32 degress F in some locales and Tambora eruption in 1815 lowered temps worldwide. The following summer was known as the year without a summer and millions died of starvation around the world. Bigger super volcanoes are around such as Yellowstone and in Siberia that makes these volcanoes look like pop guns.
Richard Branson truly believes that man is at fault then he can start by grounding his airline and he and Al Gore can start walking instead of flying around by private jet and being chauffered around in limos but we all know that won't happen because they are making money thru tax shelters like Al's movie and the write off's for Branson's business. Carbon credit is yet another scam.
Battlestar Galactica is boring. Nearly every episode has the characters drenched in sweat and blood - I think a stage hand is nearby with the extra buckets when the director calls out "Not enough, throw another bucket of blood on em".
No one to root for since they all have stab each other in the back. The characters always moaning about this and that. The show is filmed in what looks like cheap film stock, the color is muted and lighting overexposed. I guess the producers think it is artsy.
Bad soap opera. SG-1 & Atlantis were the lead in for this show and the reason I watched. It was like a bad movie but not good bad, just unbelievable that someone thought this up.
SG-1 & Atlantis helped the ratings quite a bit but now they are gone and Battlestar Galactica can't stand on it's own.
Previous presidents abused the freedoms our country offers so they could make money and deals - clinton using the IRS against all his girlfriends (what a man) and anyone else who criticize him. Only the more corrupt members of congress kept him in office. I have yet to see anything about Bush using these methods. Just charges slung by dems but zero evidence, slinging mud. Now I don't like one bit his domestic spending or giving illegals amnesty but you know the democrats would have caved as clinton did and we would have been attacked repeatedly as in the 90's after 9/11 if gore or kerry were president.
They would be blaming everyone but themselves. Bush just attacks the terrorists - I think not aggressive enough but I think Dirty Harry is a liberal:)
The news media regular "filters" the news now and most people get their news from local & network news shows. Katie Couric! geez... Glad the internet is around with the many blogs where you can read for yourself the news from around the world and filter for yourself. Google & Yahoo owners are helping China keep their population under the thumb of communism - do no evil unless you make money right?
What you should worry about is google and earthlink watching every keystroke as they will in San Francisco and selling that info and the phone companies selling your movements by tracking the GPS in your cellphones
I bet those that criticize Bush will be the 1st in line to criticize him if the terrorists attack here in the USA BTW just what is the democrats plan again? Abandon the Iraq's and Afgans as in Vietnam and Cambodia? Millions killed but hey we feel for them plan
He will pay for the rocket with stolen money.
I was charged in november by Amazon for a book I did not order and it was shipped overnight
$27 charge overall for a 10.95 book. I found it came thru my Amazon store which I had setup just a few weeks before.
I called and spoke with someone who said no problem to refunding my money but I would have to pay the shipping since it wasn't their fault. It was a good thing this guy was at the end of a phoneline...
I had to inundate their email boxes - any email link, after getting no reply from their regular customer service email but after 5 weeks I did get a full refund.

I have a tricoder. It does everything.
You would think they could use the gravity map the satellite was creating to predict where the satellite would fall.....

Ashton Kutcher is so bad on Two and a Half Men. What were they thinking of using him to portray Steve Jobs?
