Myself for example... I went from playing RTS (Stracraft) to watching anime then went to playing MMOGs (World of Warcraft)... each successive 'interest' was stronger than the previous and more time dedicatd
I would suggest that's why it didn't work for you - you replaced one time-consuming game with another. I'm talking about pulling someone far enough back that they don't need to play games 38 hours a day. My "anti-drug" turned out to be a combination of futzing around in.NET, work, and hanging out with some old friends from high school on a regular basis.
so the guy can't win, a suspiscious website appears and he believes it to be a threat how TF is he to know off-the-bat that this particular suspicous site that has replaced his site is benevolent?
That's the problem - he apparently came to the conclusion that the Apache boilerplate was a threat without at least Googling it or asking around. We all laugh at cats for hissing at their reflection in the mirror, this is pretty much the same thing. How he handled the situation - especially considering he kept threatening to call in the FBI - makes him wrong, and at least somewhat merits the outcome. We could be talking web servers or refrigerators here, it really doesn't matter.
It appears that Mr. Taylor is not pleased with the publicity he has received due to the incident, despite his prior statement of, 'I have no fear of the media, in fact I welcome this publicity.'
Yeah, the publicity isn't so great when it's not the local ABC affiliate oohing and aahing over your latest plan to put a new tree in the city park, is it?
Don't just make them quit - find something to replace the MMORPG with. Doesn't have to be a girlfriend, doesn't have to be an offline game that you only play for an hour at a time, maybe it could be a previous hobby or forcing them out of the house every night to visit with friends. Just something that'll keep their mind off of the game.
Sorry for the late response - you more or less still go to the same place whether you're dialing 911 or a private dispatch number a local PD gave you. 911 is just a neat phone system hack that routes your call to the right dispatcher based on your location.
I really wish Final Fantasy fans would stop pretending they were gamers, and just own up that the only reason they play those games is to oggle the pretty graphics.
As someone who has been playing Final Fantasy since long before the graphics became any kind of selling point, I'm going to have to go ahead and say that's one of the most worthless things I've read all day. Thanks buddy!
Not to mention, Seiken Densetsu 3 was hands-down one of the best 16-bit era RPGs. It's a shame it didn't make it to North America, but a translated ROM is out there.
Not really disturbing - I worked at ADT for a couple months awhile back and I could have established these kinds of percentages easily within a week if I was taking notes. And it wouldn't be for one city, it would have been across the entire nation. I think the longest I was ever on hold was 15 minutes for the LAPD.
So, in other words, the rumors of an almost $1000 price tag for the system weren't too far off, and Sony has to delay until they can get the cost down to something that people might actually pay for. But he can't actually say that, of course.
It should go without saying that units won't fly off of shelves at a $1,000 price point. If that's really what the price tag is on those things right now, then Sony would do just as well to wait until they can strike a balance between what consumers are willing to pay and how much they're willing to lose per unit. It may not have as much to do with "forcing" Blu-Ray on the market as you think it does.
Oh wait, I'm wrong - Sony is an evil, ruthless empire from the far east that is bound and determined to force their highly-entertaining game consoles into our living rooms so everyone can revel in the technical superiority of Final Fantasy 27.
That's a pretty good point. Language is in some ways a reflection of society, and as such it will continue to evolve. What seems enlightened now may not have been the case 50 years ago, and may just seem stuffy to the average schmuck 50 years from now.
Could you honsitly say you wouldn't be tempted to change things critisising about you if you could.
Doesn't mean you should, though - not if they're true. If you do it on Wiki somebody will just revert your edit anyway, then it compounds your original problem by making you look like you're trying to cover something up.
The amount of time you spend tracking down and integrating every security fix will far exceed the amount of time it takes to run Windows Update 3 times. Not to mention the fact your super duper Windows disk will be out of date by the next month anyway.

Yeah people aren't even trying anymore.

Next time bother actually reading reviews and you might find what you want.
Remind me again why reviews matter? They're someone else's opinions, not your own.

... all four people who still play the game.
Just keep an eye out for the people who pay down the entire balance of their store credit card. Those people are obviously the terrorists!

I didn't buy Air Jordans when those were the thing, and I'm not buying a Fatal1ty mouse now. I like my Logitech.
I do not see, however, what this has to do with technology related legislation...
Technology = application of science. Lose interest in science, and technology could suffer as a result.
We get a 1.21 gigawatt power supply.
