They claim it's to eliminate scalping, but in truth it guarantees every seat will be scalped for the highest price with all the money going to ticketmaster.
You silly goose, they're already doing this. What did you think those convenience charges were for?
Especially considering it is riding on the success of the PS2, and will also be a way for people to get a Blu-Ray player.
That's still running under the assumption that people want a Blu-Ray player - which is by no means a given thing. By the time Blu-Ray is a proven enough technology that the mass majority of consumers will want it, the price of standalone players will be comparable to if not cheaper than whatever the PS3 is going for. And when that happens people won't be going to the video game department to get one.
GH was fun for me because I got to play Symphony Of Destruction on something besides an air guitar:) But as someone who played clarinet and sax in high school, I'd probably agree with you if I came across a Woodwind Hero game.

I like how they're even giving you straw men to set up for him to attack. If I were in a position to make programming choices for GamesFirst, I'd get some real questions from audience members or something instead.
If it's important enough to them that they hamper BT traffic, they'll just tell you to find an FTP mirror to download from. I doubt any amount of complaining you do will get them to change that, unless they have another service plan you can buy into or you know somebody at the company that can pull some strings (usually if bandwidth is throttled they can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis).
If OS X users want to see the "blue screen of death," just *try* and use an OS that has to be built for an infinite combination of hardware setups, as opposed to a OS built by the same company that makes the hardware.
Good call - I'm in a special situation which I probably shouldn't go around applying to everything. My Dreamhost account was set up during a sale they were running that gives me their business level plan for $10 a month. My online mailbox storage with Dreamhost across all mailboxes is just over 100gb, and I get an additional 640mb per week.
I changed my domain's mail service a few days ago and I guess it's been ok. But honestly, I'm not seeing a killer app here - I don't know why I should continue to use their service over Dreamhost's.
Right on. Technical specs to me haven't meant anything since after the 16-bit era was over with. Just give me good games, and the rest will take care of itself.
It's just the Mac Experience(TM)!
Congratulations, the Mac can play 5 games available on a PC.

What is this reactivation you speak of? I've installed AVG on dozens of computers and have never seen this.
Mario has created a booming industry in psychadelic mushrooms
Not to mention turning kids into communists!

Knowing that taxpayer money is being used to index the fact that I call:
- My mom
- Your mom
- Papa John's
No really, this is great.
Tauren/gnome? That's hot.

The "anybody but this guy" mentality doesn't work, otherwise Bush wouldn't be president now.
The Wizard was a piece of theatrical mastery in every sense of the word.
Personally, I've wondered when I'd be able to use a both free and legal DVD player in the US.
:)
As long as the MPAA is around, your chances at such a player are slim to none.
I don't host my site on my company's web servers. It's not that far out of the realm of reason.

I liked Jet Set Radio probably the best, but there were a lot of fun titles available.

Linux users don't seem to have this problem.
It is, if you know where to look.
/not that I know of such things
Only 4 people voted against the final bill. Net Neutrality must not have been that important to either side.
I've been using it for awhile on a Server 2003 box at home - handles pretty nice, and Management Studio Express is a pretty good front end.
That's like saying everyone who enrolls in karate classes is doing it so they can go down the street beating the hell out of people.
