    This is a really bad year to make this complain. A hard science fiction book (The Three-Body Problem) won the award for best novel. Very far away from a low rent soap opera in some vague dimensionless settings.

    You piss in Putin's face? Remind me which country Crimea belongs to? Remind me which country has troops in Ukraine? And please don't start with sanctions, these don't mean shit. Having nuclear weapons has worked out well for every country that got them. Israel, India, Pakistan & North Korea are all very glad they have them. They are great as defensive weapons if you have other countries that are desperate to topple your government.

    Look I don't expect that people to read the article but at least read the whole summary: Residents of neighborhoods have very good reasons to want the laws enforced. Residential neighborhoods aren't places for twenty somethings to spend a holiday drunk and disruptive. It's illegal because making it legal wrecks neighborhoods. Malum in se.

    7$/gallon would have a huge effect but it wouldn't be the end of civilization. Germany has gas that costs more than 7$/gallon and people haven't started making rafts yet here.

    While differences between men and women might play a part in this they can't wholly explain it. In Germany the percentage of female CS students has been rising for years.. Still only at about quarter but higher than in the US, so culture does seem to play a part.

    The paper was preliminary to begin with. It is currently withdrawn in order to fix minor typos

    Minor typos like a ! that m,ade it into the paper by accident.

    I wish our government would do something to piss Google off so that we could have uncensored search results (to be fair: In Germany we can just switch from the censored google.de to the uncensored google.com)

    Why did the FCC only grant two satellite licences? It's not like there's limited bandwith. Now that Sirius and XM merge and the FCC still doesn't allow new satellite companies there's no competition at all.

Lewis had four possibilities: 1)Aliens are not fallen and don't need salvation 2)Aliens are irredeemable and can't attain salvation 3)Aliens are fallen and can attain salvation thorugh Jesus like men 4)Aliens are fallen but have their own means of salvation

    Yes, Peter Grünberg one of the Nobel Price recipients did patent this technology.

    Grünberg, to this day a leading physicist at the Jülich Research Centre in Germany, saw his patent published in 1994. from the European Patent Office.
