I wouldnt compare graphics right now. There are pictures floating around that showed that the demo stations were actually modified gamecubes and not the wii console it self.

A week ago I tried installing 6 different distrobutions of Linux.
each one crashed after install.Completly locked up my system. Would freeze on bootup. When I resolved that problem then it would not even display correctly.
It would switch the bottom and top halves of the screen.
I gave up and reinstalled windows. IF I am having these kinds of problems just getting the distros top work then what kind of problems would a less experienced user run into.
No matter what youy say windows and mac osx are a lot more user friendly. You dont have to compile programs to install them. You dont have to do much inthe way of install.
Even if windows doesnt have the right driver say for ur gf card you can still use it . Linux just crashed on my and did some wierd things ebcause it didnt have the drivers.

how did this person get permision to do this. The myth busters couldnt even get a jet engine for their project. Even with the firedepartment there and everything.
The funniest thing that I am seeing is that a lot of people are saying that microsoft should do a lot of the things that Nintendo is doing but yet people are saying that Nintendo will fail ?
While everybody is saying sony is loosing this much and microsoft is loosing this much Nintendo is smiling away.
No matter how few consoles they sell they stil lseem to make money.
Remember the gamecube sold about the same amount of consoles world wide as the xbox did. They also made money off the gamecube.

Computer related degrees are on the rise. There are now more computer hardware,security,and comp network degrees now.
you dont have to get a comp sci degree now.
Example I have a networking administration and computer technology associates and a bachelors in managment of computer technology .
There are more and different degrees in computers now. Its harder to get a degree then it is for a certification.
More employers are requiring degrees

Dells laptops are cheap and they are horridly made.
I have an acer tha tI am extremely impressed with. The only thing that I can't upgrade on it is the video card (wich i had to get an integrated intel vi card ). Even the pentium m cpu can be upgraded in it.
IT has great build quality and awesome features.
Its also about 2-3 pounts lighter and an inch thinner then the dell equivalents.
For business puposes there workstations offer awesome tech support. I call them up say I hae a bad video card and they ship a new one no questions asked.
There home section is horrid. My next desktop machine will probably be a mac.

Windows and osx are way easier to use then linux. THere are many programs on linux that I had to recompile because there ready to run apps didn't run.
Didn't microsoft redo the code? I thought people wanted a secure and stable os? Not one with bells and whistles.
I find it funny that for years people complained about the security wholes and how instable it was.
Now people don't want that and want the bells and whistles.
I Just want a stable os. If we have to drop all the 3d stuff and everything else to do that so be it.
Remember all the people who say why no mention of the ddr pad should keep in mind there was a similiar pad for the nes. You used it on games like track and field where you would run in place to make the guy run and you would jump to make him jump.

The local walmarts by me sell next to nothing in terms of video games. I mean They dont even have ps2s for sale.

We have a poweredge server with suse linux running directly from dell.
Unless I am dreaming wich I am not we did get the server from dell with linux loaded.
Nintendo has used the arm in 2 of there consoles. I am pretty sure it wa sused in the gameboy advance3 and 2 arm processors in the Nintendo DS. So why can't this new processor be for there new rumoured Gameboy Evolution?

The wii uses a gyroscopic sensor from gyration to do its mice like movements. The sensor is for position and speed and the accelerometer is for tilt.
Wow. What did they completely ignore gyration. Hasnt gyrations 3d mice ben out for a couple of years now?
Your wrong. The Nintendo controlelr uses the gyro for the pointing ,accelerometer for tilting and the rf for the rest of the positioning stuff.
