This has to be the stupidest thing I've ever seen. You can do the same thing with MS paint. Then again, look at their target audience. I'm guessing there will be plenty of idiots buying this, lol.

Apple is bad about not wanting to get into short upgrade cycles, so if by June something strange happens and 3G is suddenly huge, they'll put it in there rather than waiting for v2 a year or so down the road.
Huh? Maybe you forgot about all the incremental ipod releases. Seems like they like to drag out the product life as much as possible and then pop in another feature, like a larger hard drive or "photos" ooooo, or "video" to get you to drop another $400 on a new one. I'm looking forward to the iPhone, but I hope they don't pull that same crap with it.

hmm, maybe because 4.7 gigs of flash memory is a tad bit more expensive than a $1 DVD? This reminds me of the stupid decoder ring things they used to ship with games back in the 80's where it would ask you some question every time you tried to start the game up.

  16. Re:Ultra-capacitors for a different type of hybrid on 500 Miles on a 5-Minute Recharge? · · Score: 1

Hmm, from the wikipedia article it says the power/rate ratio of the ultracaps is about 10% of lithium ion batteries. So basically your ultracaps will weigh 10x more than equivalent batteries. I can't see how they think they'll get 500miles on something like that when normal electric vehicles can only go 100miles or so on normal batteries.

I agree. I also think "guns" are more suited towards types of games that are based on actual skill, and not a random dice roll/modifiers. One of the things that would have made earth and beyond alot more interesting to play would be that you would actually have to aim your ship at something in order to hit it instead of point, click, blast till it's dead. I think if you could introduce some FPS components to a RPG, then gun combat would be alot more interesting.

I ride my bike on the road fairly often, and I'd have to say that nearly all close calls I've had were with old people. I wonder if the reason old people have fewer accidents is that they consistently drive horribly (drifting into other lanes, turning in front of oncoming traffic) and steer clear of them.
