Hey look it's Slash-hoo!, or is it Sloogle? I can't tell. What I can tell is that it's BS. Next, we'll get a story about a newfangled doohickey that slices bread.
It's funny how sarcasm directed at sarcasm is often perceived as a lack of sarcasm detection on the part of the replying party. Please install sarcasm detector 2.0 and recalibrate.
You, sir, are what is referred to as a "denier". Your opinion is based on nothing but contempt for those who are attempting to save you from yourself. Stop thinking and start complying. That is all.
came pretty close to getting it right. Among more mainstream SciFi space content, they got it as close to right as I've seen. Constant thruster usage, projectiles, no such thing as "up", silence outside of the vehicles.
Not to fear. We'll ban the production of the scary 30 round caliber magazine clips. When they've all been used up we'll all be safe again. Then we can ban 10 mm caliber round printed magazine clips.
Let me sum the whole argument up. The 2nd amendment is often misinterpreted to mean that a militia is required for gun ownership. In fact, it is the opposite. Guns are required in order to have a militia. Put into simplified modern language, the amendment reads "Because we need a well regulated militia, we must ensure that the people have a right to carry weapons".
In other words, the militia is not a condition for gun ownership. Gun ownership is a condition for having a militia.
I've never voted for Tax-me Shameless(RINO-GA), but thankfully, he's retiring. I guess this is one of his last acts of idiocy before we get to replace him.
Yes, mine does . When they implemented this, they openly informed everyone and held a Q&A session. Certificates were provided along with setup instructions for browsers. I don't have an issue with it for 3 reasons.
1) They were open about it from day 1.
2) They do not intercept and inspect connections with certain types of sites(banking, healthcare, etc.) and YES I have verified this.
3) They have obviously limited the ports being intercepted(kind of pointless) because I can establish HTTPS connections to servers using non-standard ports without the normally required certificate. This also means that I can tunnel all of my internet activity via SSH through my home server when I choose to.
People like that will use any "argument" to justify what they are doing, no matter how illogical. They will not care whether they worked for what they have. The only goal is to pull everyone down to their level, because they know they are too lazy too succeed on their own.
The non-techies in most families who actually use computers and smart phones are typically already accustomed to a particular OS/device. It's much easier to support their occasional need than to spend countless hours explaining how to make this new thing do what the old thing did. Now, if the FSF membership came with tech support for FSF supported items, I'd buy them one of those in a heartbeat.
After reading through the list it seems they want me to give my non-techie family a bunch of shit they'll never figure out or have no use for anyway. How cute
That is totally misleading. Hell, it's a lie!! Tesla just notified me that I can no longer drive my car. I've been told I will have the option to buy an extremely similar car for 5 times the price, though. Can you confirm?
Just because someone is looking at their lap doesn't mean that they're texting. I would personally fight it in court. If the State wants to waste time and money getting phone and email records to prove out a $150 ticket, so be it. My guess is that they'll cave.
Also, some clarification for others:
1. Putting your car in Park at a red light does not constitute having your car "legally parked" as required by the law. O.C.G.A. 40-6-241.2
2. Technically, he's wrong about the GPS issue. The law exempts use of a GPS device and does not define what a GPS device is. Due to lack of a definition, one could argue in court that the phone IS a GPS device and was being used as such at the time of the supposed violation.

You seem to have forgotten that progressives believe that "we all belong to the government".
We'd like to believe this, yet my now former bank recently sent my password via email when I forgot it.

Try pens, paper, the occasional reed flute, and some random business/marketing mags.

Who says the project was funded with NSA dollars?
That's my method. 10 connections per server to 3 servers significantly geographically separated.

More than 7 million people now have insurance paid for by taxpayers and rising insurance costs to all because of Socialism.
There. I fixed that for you.

You beat me to it.
