The thing about PC Gaming is that its usually Windows the one that gets the games.
I'm a Fedora User, I have a Wii and an Xbox for games, my Linux box for work, and I have a Windows XP Partition just to play TF2, L4D and other Steam games. I wish Wine allowed me to play those games easily...
I'd rather have *something* now, with the promise that It'll "be better" in the future, than wait... and wait... and wait..... and wait......
Besides, every day they develop but not sell costs Google, I'm not saying they're rushing things (Or that they should've rushed things). I'm saying they should've had Android 1.0 to compete with that other FruitFone, even if it meant less features, but steadily adding new ones.
I formatted my Dell Inspiron long ago to remove the "MediaDirect" partition for that same reason. I installed Fedora on it, then configured Gnome to launch Amarok whenever I click that button.
I also installed Win XP on it, but without the MediaDirect partition, the button's useless in WinXP.
I, of course, don't support public obscenities and indecencies- it's just plainly wrong to do some things in public. But then I try to think why it is, and can't seem to find a good answer. Is it because that's how I was brought up, and that's how I learned it should be?
I bet you also don't take a crap in public, you do it in the privacy of a bathroom stall.
It's the same logic. Some things aren't meant to be done in public, like picking your nose, for instance.
Where's the answer for "none of them should be shut down, but I prefer to keep an open mind and deal with reality rather than wallow in my own preconceptions about things that haven't happened yet"? I believe its called "CowboyNeal"
So this isn't an obvious April Fool's story?
Found this at YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6zyRr3tmlU
Its what Watchmen would've looked like if it was turned into a cheesy cartoon...

So this would be Service Pack 2?
The complaint is because the Macbook makes all their firewire accesories useless. (Duh).
Yeah, thats why Gmail hasn't had a single update in years.
Not the Labs, not the IMAP support, or Gcal integration or force https... Nope, no updates..
I bet this will be considered as one of the "hundreds of patents" that GNU/Linux users owe, and caused Novell and company to Bend Over(tm)
I bought me the Orange Box via Steam.
I've been playing Half Life (1) and Portal offline without issues (after it downloaded them and everything).
I didn't mind the fact that I had to be online to "activate" them, as I had to download them anyways.
I've yet to try installing it from the backups it created (they look like plain ISOs to me) while in offline mode though...
Hmm... Wasn't Android's idea "all apps built the same"?
Speak for yourself.

Photoshop is not a verb
I know! Thats why I've been gimping stuff for the past few years.
I took all the exes out of my life when I switched to Linux :-)
I got an email from slashdot today saying someone requested to change my password...
To whoever tried... I dont really use rot13, its actually rot26!
OH, so I'm supposed to mark that checkbox up there?
Thats why I use random gibberish as a question, and rot13 that and use as the answer.
Posting anonymously because I don't want you to look into my accounts and attempt to get into them!
Ah, but here's the catch. You wouldn't exactly yell it over the P.A. System.
You'd start a rumor with a bunch of different groups and let the students themselves spread the word.
It isn't perfect, but you wouldn't be able to mark someone specifically as "collaborating with copyright violation"
I thought /.ers liked Ponies...

Too bad its Henna though....
The Fedora Logo would be the one thing I'd actually tattoo. Even if I switch distros, the meaning would still stand. Infinite Freedom, Voice.
Any GPS is fine as long as you ride a bike.

Or even better, .html, .php, .jsp....
Imagine having http://index.html/ !
Not upgrading isn't an option either.
It seems that this bug affects Fx2 too.
Seeing how Fedora basically spearheaded development of Xen, including it since Fedora Core 4, I find it hard to believe that there's no mention of it.
